 Typing is slower on the tablet, but tolerable. I am grateful for the cloud! I will be able to do my taxes on this thing. Thank goodness.  Wash dishes. Start taxes. Pick up book club book at library. Vacuum living room. Learn how to copy and paste on this tablet. Figure out where the search function is in email.

goldenthreads, I think you can get an external keyboard for most tablets. It seems like you got a good one. About 15 years ago I bought a tablet, but after having it a few months realized it couldn't do most of what I wanted it to do. ta-da: Meds to cat and observed her closely. Last evening she got up to walk after a long nap, and her back end wasn't cooperating. She kept falling over when she tried to walk. She seems better this morning. Watered houseplants. I was hoping to be able to move some of the plants outside in the next few weeks, but we had some snow this morning.  so it will be a few more weeks! (Frost free date is usually around first week of May here, but last year we didn't have any hard frosts after mid April. I'll keep watching the long term forecast. Ate breakfast and loaded dirty dishes into the dishwasher to-do: Blood donation questionnaire needs to be done. CLA meeting now Continue with decluttering Get ready to go for blood donation appointment right after lunch.

In fact, I had decided against getting one because I figured I’d be using my laptop when typing was required. You have saved me from frustration. I think I’ll get one today to make taxes easier (and so my crossword times don’t increase dramatically  ).  Learned where the email search function is on this tablet. Had meds and made bed. Washed dishes.

Figured out what keyboard should work. Went out and bought it. Successfully paired keyboard with the tablet and wrote this sentence!

Hey Witsters Great work happening here! It is Sunday evening here and I have spent the entire weekend painting (like I have done pretty much every weekend since just before Christmas) but the end is finally in sight. I completed the last big section today and all that is left is the front door and frame, window sills and touch up. Plus a whole lot of scraping paint off windows  Painted and cleaned up Brought in washing Shower Dinner - talk G into making it Make lunch for tomorrow |

Hi all
Getting warm here. I'm running fans .
I sat outside most of the weekend . I got a few things done today
Filled 3 5 gallon water jugs
Walmart run at 7am before any crowds
Mopped the floors
Made a light lunch.

I've been having problems getting moving this morning. ta-da: Meds to cat and fed her Made and ate breakfast Moved dishes from the sink into the dishwasher Started soaking white beans for some type of soup/stew/chili that I'll prepare later Tomorrow is tax day. I completed the federal, state and local taxes already, but money will be moved out of an account tomorrow to pay my bill and I have a real estate tax due the end of the month, and don't know if I have enough money in my checking account. I may have to move some money around to make this work. Finances are tight. to-do: CLA meeting Declutter Go for a walk/pick up trash Later: Check finances, account balances, etc. File some receipts for tax purposes so I can find them next February (uniform, embroidery, professional membership) Work on quilt backing. Maybe I can finish it this week?

Good afternoon goldenthreads and BetsyMarie! The sun was shining for a few minutes earlier today but then it's become completely overcast, and I have more trouble feeling motivated in this type of weather. I was a little distracted because I was asked if I could address a problem of a stranger needing some social services. Fortunately someone else took care of it. I don't feel that this type of problem is in my skill set. (My church had asked me to be on a committee that addresses community needs. I'm not sure it's a good for for me.) ta-da: CLA meeting, and did a bit of planning for the meetings I will be leading over the next few days. Did a bit of sewing for my quilt back. My backing is a too small, so I'm going to add a few blocks or pieces of scrap fabric to create a backing that is big enough Ate some lunch Checked the mail, but none came yet. Checked my bank account balance. I should be okay for this month. to-do: Find and file papers needed to justify tax deductible expenses for when I file taxes next year (This is for state tax.) I had them on or next to my bed, and don't want to lose them in the clutter Go for a walk outside and pick up trash. Continue with decluttering |
