123jake I'm glad you're feeling well enough to try your new mop. In the after, I have to drive to the airport and pick up my guest. TA-DA 1. Showered and dressed 2. Took apart drying rack in kitchen/dining area 3. Put away dry clothes (too many are still damp) 1. Put away dry dishes 2. Soaking breakfast pan 3. Stored drying rack and put damp clothes on rack in utility closet 1. Put all Christmas decor onto the upper shelf of the linen closet - woohoo! Now the guestroom closet is functional. 2. Put stray books into fancy bin 3. Put spare blankets in an under-the-bed bag so my guest can access them if needed. TO DO 1. Put away art supplies where guest can reach them 2. Make bed 3. Vacuum floor and dust

Good morning missjeanta-da: Carried trash down to the main road and then walked back up the hill Ate breakfast and cut up half a watermelon. Emptied the dishwasher to-do Try to unclog toilet. I thought I had cleared the clog, but it still won't flush Check litter boxes, scoop poop, maybe dump one and refill it? Laundry Check on chickens, get mail, CLA meeting Make appointment to get car inspected. I screwed up. It's supposed to be done already.

It's been a good morning.  Not hot yet.  done: -flattened large boxes -gathered small and medium boxes in which to put donations, or for garage storage -put a couple bulky items in clear plastic bag and put in the garage -swept large rug Todo - lots of recycling to be done: -bring main recy bin to front door -gather collected recy, and put in the bin -attend to litter boxes ....................................  |

done: -cleaned and refilled 2 cat waters -brought recy bin to front porch area and put a few things into it. -checked out area in the front room to put some shelves. Todo: -take out the rest of recycling -set up shelving in front room -litter boxes It's bulky item day.  |

Hi BetsyMarie, It looks like you are being very productive! ta-da: Tried again to unclog the toilet. Made a misjudgement and ended up with overflowing toilet. Mopped up the floor with old dirty work jeans, towels and such. Bailed out the toilet and managed to get it unclogged. This became a much larger and discouraging project than anticipated. Started a load of laundry. Took a break because I was feeling exhausted and discouraged. (In the middle of the above mess, DH and I had an argument about the car inspection... it turns out that he misunderstood me.) DH made an appointment for the car inspection for next week. (It will be overdue by one week, but it is what it is.) Laundry was moved to the dryer Did some prep of cat's meds. Trying an alternate method, since there will be a few times when DH has to do it, and I think what I have been doing will be too tedious for him Eating lunch now. The thunderstorms are starting to move through. We are supposed to have several hours of storms. We often lose power when this happens. to-do: Put laundry away when it is dry Check on chickens between storms Do some decluttering |

Hi Betsy, great job! Setting up shelves sounds like a lot of work.

Did a load of dishes (another load soaking)
Picked up and swept dining room and kitchen floor
My goodness! I am finding so much dirt everywhere! This is like a move-out clean

Clean around garbage can

Ugh! Completely forgot I promised to go with my mother to Fisherman’s Wharf for fish and chips at 2 pm.
Not an unpleasant thing to do 😂 but I was really getting into cleaning. Will have to adjust my expectations.

Yikes! 123jake , enjoy your lunch with mom. done: -swept the floor where the 'new' shelving will go -brought in shelving materials and set it up. It's simple shelving. Not sure if it will be permanent or just a transition while organizing -put some things without homes on the 'new' shelving. Must get more clear bins from the big box store. Todo: -food prep -garden task -take out more collected recy -litter boxes - as always  |

123jake enjoy your lunch. Ally I hope the toilet stays unclogged after the trouble it gave you. BetsyMarie new shelving is wonderful. Whether it's temporary or long term, here's hoping it serves you well! TA-DA Did all the stuff I could in the time I had. Made it to the airport and wow! the cops and security were unbelievable. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

done: -broke down more lrg boxes and put more recy in main bin -swept another large rug -watered side yard -took a nice nap Todo: -put away clean dishes -more pick up, put away -finish food prep there is a noticeable visual improvement looking towards the living room. |

Hello, people!  The skies have been taunting us: unusually clouded over, possibility of rain, but it doesn’t happen.  Brought in last bin. Put dishes away. Had meds and made bed.  Weed.
Fold and put away towels.Write email to doctor.
Make doctor appointment.
Put away remaining groceries.
