DD (age 5) wanted to help me do the dishes while I was desqualoring the kitchen (again...) We finished and I looked around and said "Well that's done, next I'll sweep the floor"
DD: "Oh, can I do it? I love sweeping!"
Me: "Sure, honey. And, if you want, when you're done you can mop it." (I was kidding.)
DD: (Squeal of utmost glee) "Really? Really Mommy!? I can mop? Just like Cinderella!? Hooray!!!!"
We ended up sweeping and mopping together, but I'm thinking that somewhere there's some really neat and clean mother wondering where her "real" child is...

I keep saying she must have been Coco Chanel's long lost child!

This is a running joke between my Mom and me, she is a neatness freak and I am by nature, Not!

! I saw my daughter the minute they took her from my womb (C-Section )....the child I brought home was mine. She's never got the hang of cleaning while when my body cooperates, I can keep things tidy. So I can't blame the hospital for switching anyone.
