? Firefox lets me post but no chatting. Also I can't seem to set the automatic logout feature for my preferred time permanently.
If you are an IE only chat/forum that really limits me so please tell me if that is the case.

No, Smokey. In fact, I use Firefox myself and I've tested it in Opera, Navigator, and Safari with no trouble. You do need to download the latest version of Java to chat, however. For the automatic logout/login feature to work, you need to have cookies enabled. In your browser's menu bar, click TOOLS>>OPTIONS...>>PRIVACY and make sure "Accept cookies from sites" is checked.

;)Thanks. Guess I will use IE because the whole point of Firefox etc. is to prevent a lot of stuff from adding to my computer. Selective cookies just won't work with this site and non IE areas because of the adverts. I could become a Mozilla expert or something and solve that problem but I do have a few other little issues going that deserve my attention. Your fast reply is appreciated. I guess my answer is that, for me, the chat will only work with IE. Just because I try not to eat too many cookies And I'm too old and tired to learn lots of new stuff just to keep up with technology. Face it, if I sit out tech stuff until 2015 or so I can jump in and learn all new things without unlearning old stuff! I am keeping up with Java, lots of interesting things to play with there. Latest version I was told about was something I uploaded on my test computer over weekend so that makes the latest version 7 days old or fewer. Thank you again. I had a feeling from past talks with sites that I can only use Firefox if I let all cookies in. I'll just let IE take on that work instead.

Smokey, it isn't so much the browser type you are using, it is the settings.
Firefox can handle all aspects of the site perfectly fine (except for the two "IE only" text tags for "glow" and "shadow") as long as you allow it to do so. There is no "IE only" areas.
However, you've elected to block applications and cookies in Firefox. While that will make your web browsing somewhat more secure, it will also limit what you can see and do. It will also occasionally interfere with the way a site operates.
If you are allowing IE access to applications like Java and cookies, that is probably your best bet for easy access on the web at this time. But please understand it is not because of anything done by websites regarding the use of Firefox. It is the tools you are allowing your browser (either Firefox or IE) to use on your own computer.
