I put things that need to go up or down stairs by the head/foot of the stairs. Every time I make a trip up or down, I take an armload, more or less, with me.

In honor of BDG's method of using waiting time, whenever I am waiting for Sweetie's coffee to brew in the morning I will wipe down one shelf in the fridge or freezer so neither will get too dirty. It should also keep the science experiments to a minimum.

Today I did these three things in the same way that BDG described:
While waiting for my water bottle to fill in the morning I put away clean dishes from the dish drainer.
When I went from garage to back yard, I pulled some weeds along the way and picked up a few small broken twigs & put them into the garden waste bag I was transporting to the backyard for working back there.
While waiting for the hot water faucet to produce hot water to wash my face in the morning, I brushed my teeth using the running water from the tap.

The BDG's method really does work. I incorporated into my life. I really do recommend that people try to do this today at least once in her honor.

I will unload/load the dishwasher while I make my lunch.
Lori, this was so sweet of you to start.
BDG, here's to you...

I am not home right now, but when I get home I will take out the recycling. And do a couple of more things in BDG's honor. It was a great idea to start this thread.

In honor of BDG's fantastic use of odd bits of time, I will clear the sink while waiting for the microwave. If the sink is clear already, I will empty the dishwasher. In the (admittedly unlikely) event that both of those are done, I will get some exercise doing wall push-ups until the timer goes off.
Great challenge!

While heating my water for tea, I will load or unload dishes from the dishwasher. If there is no dishes to deal with, I will put a few things that are sitting on the counter, away and wipe it down.

as a tribute to BDG,
when i get put 'on hold' in a phone call, i will tidy anything in that area and whenever possible, walk around while i am waiting on hold, so i can get a little exercise while tidying random bits in the apartment.
i will tidy my computer desk while online, and if that is done, will tackle a drawer or two while sitting there.
