According to their home page, proboards.com/(see "quick stats" on right side of page) at the time I am typing this (July 13, 2008) there are: • Number of boards hosted: 2,493,223 • Number of registered users: 20,857,236 • Number of threads created: 56,328,449 • Number of posts made: 629,250,085 And the owner, Patrick Clinger, wants to know the genders of every member of every forum. You can randomly pick a gender, and then hide it from view. Nobody, not even the moderators of this Stepping Out of Squalor forum, will be able to see whatever gender you've hidden. I always wondered about the ads on top of the page....right now they're for "Flush the poop away!", Dog poop bags and dispenser", and Pet waste stations and bags!" (And I don't even own a dog!  )
I have no problem listing my gender. I have a first name that either a male or a female can use. In AOL chats, until people read my profile, they usually assume I'm a male.  I'd also like to know if who I'm talking to is a male or female, just because I forget  .

Well, now there is an ad for an astrologer, and..lesbian singles...now a dating site!  I am going to change the gender every now and again just to confuse matters!  |

I think I will just go in and change my gender choice every once in a while. And hide it.
