"If the shelves are dusty and the pots don't shine, It's because I've better things to do with my time." -- AnonymousAhh, one of my favorite excuses for not cleaning--I'm too busy doing "better things." (Don't ask what. ) ------------------------------------------- MM, I'd pay all kinds of money for a vacuum that would clean my house for me . . .

I am unsure who said this,it may have been Victoria Wood, but it has always applied to myself.
It doesn't matter what you wear as long as your stains match your accessories

"American consumers have no problem with carcinogens, but they will not purchase any product, including floor wax, that has fat in it." -- Dave BarryPlease--as if I need a floor wax to have fat on my floor. There's so much bacon grease by my stove, I could probably clone a pig. ---------------------------------------------------- MM, you are most welcome--and thank you for sharing all of your great quotes! BigRae, that quote is awesome! All this time, I've tried to find things to wear without stains and now I know there's an easier way! EBB, I love that! I have it on a button and unfortunately, it is all too true . . .

"If I had known what it would be like to have it all, I might have been willing to settle for less." -- Lily Tomlin And this coming from a woman that definitely has a place to put all of it . . . ------------------------------------------ MM, I think there's too much dust in my house to just qualify as a "country" accent. Is there an "Old West Prairie Town" accent?

There is no daily chore so trivial that it cannot be made important by skipping it two days running. ~Robert Brault
Or, in my case, weeks running.
Dragon, you may name it any accent you want, it still means you have more important things to do with your time.

"The trouble with 'A place for everything and everything in its place' is that there's always more everything than places." -- Robert Brault------------------------------------------------------ MM, if there were just 48 hours in a day, I might have time to do it all. (I don't know if I'd do it well, but it might get done.)

"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." -- Franklin P. Jones------------------------------------------------------ MM, curling up with a good book always beats repair jobs. It also beats doing the dishes, making the beds, cleaning the bathroom, putting up the laundry . . . Hmm, I think I see a trend here.
