"So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable."--Christopher Reeve I love this bundle of quotes. My appreciation especially to Buddha and Christopher Reeve for the most basic of instruction on making dreams come true. Persist in making the little actions you are able to make. Long lasting change will follow if you keep at it. or keep coming back to it - as in the case of buffing the rock in a stream that is dependent on rain and the weather.

"A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. A goal is what specifically you intend to make happen. Dreams and goals should be just out of your present reach but not out of sight. Dreams and goals are coming attractions in your life."--Joseph Campbell
"The ideal life is in our blood and never will be still. Sad will be the day for any man when he becomes contented with the thoughts he is thinking and the deeds he is doing--where there is not forever beating at the doors of his soul some great desire to do something larger, which he knows that he was meant and made to do."--Phillips Brooks
"Dreams, ideas, and plans not only are an escape, they give me purpose, a reason to hang on."--Steven Callahan Freedom and Wynken, I too find much wisdom in those quotes from Buddha and Christopher Reeve. And I especially have so much respect for Reeve because of all he continued to accomplish even after his accident and confinement to a wheelchair. At a point when most people would have just given up, he kept moving forward and working to achieve new goals.

How to say 'YES' to opportunity. How to willingly follow the Muse when it comes calling. To accept that the Muse always 'knows' the way forward. When spiritual awareness enters the mind, it also enters the heart."-- excerpt from "The Creative Block" from "A.R.T.S. Anonymous" (A.R.T.S. = Artists Recovering through the Twelve Steps.) www.artsanonymous.org"It is when we live our vision, aligning our will with that of our Higher Power's, that we attain the peace, joy, emotional balance, self-worth, and love that has been promised. By living our vision and doing Higher Power's will for us, we inspire others to do the same. And so the never-ending chain of recovery and growth continues."-- excerpt from the "Visions" pamphlet", copyright 2002 by Debtors Anonymous www.debtorsanonymous.org"We begin to know ourselves better and think about using our true talents. We allow ourselves to want more out of life and we become willing to take the necessary action to achieve it. As a result, we are also able to give more to others and to our communities, contributing to something larger than ourselves."-- excerpt from the Promises of Underearners Anonymous www.underearnersanonymous.org"Are these extravagant promises? They will always materialize if we work for them."-- excerpt from Promises of Alcoholics Anonymous, from the Big Book, pages 83-84
