Anyone remember a show by that name - I loved that show - in fact I wanted on that show to help me find a job overseas and change my life. Anyway on that show they had people with clutter issues (and other issues as well). So often it was discussed that clutter is an excuse - not to change your life - because it clutters the mind and keeps someone busy so they don't have time to change the real other issues that might be holding them back. Anyway it is almost 3 am and I was just thinking about that show and what was said.

no I do not know that show...but I was wondering since I heard that May 1 means that Census reaches the footwork stage of the enumerators out counting people house to house, what happened with your application for the census? Hugs and keep on keeping on....

Way off topic there bbt.
I haven't heard of anyone being hired - but I think enumerators were being scheduled differently in different geograhic areas.

Hi S19,
It doesn't take much to convince me that, for some people, clutter is a way to avoid all sorts of things.
I avoided fear of failing by not cleaning. I never had time to do anything except remember that I couldn't do anything until I got my house in order. Forever planning on order was a convenient way to not face some scary questions like, "what do I want to do with my life?"
Someone else I know seemed to delay the onset of adult life by not cleaning (adult life with its perceived crushing responsibilities).

I loved that show! I remember them saying things like that. I was not in the place to really get that then, but now I get it.
I didn't have to have to deal with anything else. Because everything was on the "when we get the house under control" list!
