Hi all, I had a yard sale with my daughter yesterday...I gave her my profits along with hers...she made money , got my stuff out of her garage from last years's yard sale..her BF agreed to this sale but said NOTHINg taken out for the sale was going back in (ok 2 pieces of furniture and 1 lamp went-they are on Craigslist as I speak)..I make a trip to the "Sally" dropped off my donations of leftovers, and have posted other things on freecycle and Craigslist for free...I made other people happy with new "treasures", kept thingss out of the landfill, and made hubby and I happpy by getting rid of "stuff"..ok it is like digging out iwth a teaspoon but...."progress, not perfection"! Seeking Serenity

That is great news. Yay for you! Putting them on Craig's list right away was awesome. I always say I will and yet never seem to get it right. You did it! Digging out with a teaspoon is still digging out! Still making progress.

Digging out with a teaspoon I speak quite a bit about my "horse and buggy method", but that it is working for me. Slow, but steady.
You're doing great and congrats on the successful yard sale.

Digging with a teaspoon. Slow and steady wins the race.
