Hey y'all, Hope you're all doing great this beautiful spring day, though if you're as deep south as I am, it has a summer feel to it already. I've not been on nor have I posted since I was moving in October(with the exception of 1 post to a woman I admire very much), and those little 15 minute chat challenges really got the last of my stuff done, even if they did not particularly pertain to my situation, and have not read anything since I think December Now that I've moved, my health situation has settled down again (hopefully for good this time), I'm on an hiatus from school for an indefinite amount of time until my doc gives the ok to go back, I have loads of time for lots of forum and housework. This is both good and bad. Good, because I now enjoy the housework, and I love to read all of my favorite forums. Bad, because I am afraid that the inactivity and sadness of not being able to do what I want to do at this time will kick start my non cleaning habits once again. The positives are that my husband is not deployed this time, and I truly think he would have something quite loud to say in his (current) Airborne Instructor's voice should the house fall to the level it does when he is gone, , so that's a great motivator right there... Anyway...thank you so much to all that have posted the wonderful things I have read, the chat challenges, the pm's, and I look forward to getting to know some of you better, I hope, as I enter the world of forums again. All the best, Sera P.S. I'm absolutely IN LOVE with the funny quote of the day post/list!!! P.P.S.I really hope this whole post made sense. I got up at 0520, which I've been doing the last few weeks for some odd reason. I don't recall enlisting in the Army with the hubs. I truly think he's secretly doing something to wake me up, so he has someone to talk to besides the dog...

Hi Seraphina! Welcome back! It's nice you're seeing the positives in having to be at home more!!!! We are also in the "summer feel" here in South Texas so I know exactly how that is! I hope you find a lot of joy along the way as your health continues to improve!!!!

Hi Seraphina! Welcome back! I'm sorry to hear that you were having health issues, but I'm glad to know they finally seem to be settling down. I know how easy it can be to fall behind on anything when you have medical problems standing in the way. And, as you said, I'm sure the fact that your husband (and his authoritative voice) are home, will be a great help and motivator (though hopefully not one that's too deafening ). I'm glad you like the quote thread and I love the one you left this morning. People have made so many great contributions to that thread since I started it and I always look forward to seeing what quotes others have shared. Glad you're back! DD

Dear Sera,
It's good to hear from you again. Because you have managed to do so much, I'm sure you will develop the habits that will keep the mess from growing back.
I hope you continue to get better!

Chris and JK, thanks so much for the warm welcome back!! DD, my hubby was wondering why I was laughing as I read, so I showed him your reply, and his response was a snort and "yeah what authority? I know what side of the bread is buttered, and it's all in a 5'4 screeching blonde". So I think that's a good thing Thanks for the laugh from both of us. And I'm glad you enjoyed my quote. I've no idea where it originated from, someone posted as their facebook status awhile back, and I loved it so I posted-noted it to my monitor. It seemed appropriate for the direction the thread had taken. Thanks to you as well m.mimi.My fingers are crossed I can keep up the healthy habits I've established and my hubby and daughter have kept for me. Looking forward to chatting with y'all some more.
