I've found this to be a very helpful site for those home repairs that do not necessarily need to be done by an expert. This particular video (I find videos really helpful) is about how to fix a dishwasher that will not drain but there are links that will get you to help with your particular problem.

Im sure I will be referring to it repeatedly now I know about it! My favorite fixit advice ever is WD-40 to make it go, Duct tape to make it stop!
