thank you all so much...it makes me tear up to see all this nice messages.... for my day yesterday, I went to noon meeting before student at 1...had to leave earlier than end of meeting but explained as I was the speaker at the last moment that I walked into the room I got asked to speak...of course I said yes....shared whatever I could and felt good about the responses I got before I left.... went to 8pm meeting few minutes later than starting and asked if they had done birthdays they had and I announced my 15yrs and found out that the other fellow in room with birthday had 45yrs....we have two long timers at that meeting the other has 47yrs....anyway I also left this one earlier than ending as I wanted to get home earlier than staying late and it would have taken over the hour for the meeting since the room was full and people were sharing long stories......anyway my sponsor called to wish me happy birthday and told me he has a 15yr coin for me...that will go into the checkbook cover with coin slot and display window..... I am very happy to have stayed away from booze this long but I am one drink away from drunk...I know it is the first car of a train on the railroad tracks that will get you not the 75th or 99th..... hugs all thanks again Ninja for a cool collection of artifacts of sobriety for my birthday cake....I get some cheese cake at my home group on Wed night...  |

thanks all....I had a nice day...and we had cheesecake yesterday at my home group...then today I happened to hang around to go to lunch with some of the people from my meetings after my court appearance for traffic woes...lighter by $225 now....;(
