now the mower no longer has self propelling action either...it broke last time I used mower. I do pick up dog poo more here than at the old house I think it is because there was none here before.... I also am having to replant grass where shep runs and has made bare spots in yard...all along side of house mostly and at the fence in front where he is barking and jumping on fence. But I have to cut grass still....I have now decided to keep my mom's mower at my house since her yard is mowed by hired young men with their own mowers. I get tired of running it back and forth to and from her garage in my car wasting gas....so I told her I was keeping it till winter. I picked up the poo yesterday and need to get mower out of car and cut the yard today weather is perfect....cool and dry...hugs lucky

Dear Lucky,
It is one of those no fun chores, and I hope you get it done quickly and easily.

I'm not particularly fond of yard work either. Problem is, neither is my hubby. The worst part is the trimming/weed eating. I can never seem to get our weedeater going (I've tried multiple times, trust me!), and hubby will only do it about once every three or four times he mows. Makes our yard look like such a redneck house...drives me insane!
Good for you for keeping your mom's mower! Anything to make it harder to say no to yard work!
Jodi

I hate doing it too, but love looking at how nice it looks afterward! It's a great work-out, too!!

Where I live, I think there will only be about 2 moe mowings, b/c it isn't growing too much now, near out of season. I don't like it either. catcat
