Hello cando! Thanks for joining me! I should probably start with a short list of the most important things first, but oh well--if things have waited this long they'll wait a couple more days! That last one, packaging a book, took forever because when I got the book out it had a different title than the order so I had to go back and research it. But it was correct, it's a graphic novel and it has a two part title. Then I ate my cheese sandwich while going through the grocery store sale papers. Now I will throw again, 5, Clean computer desk drawer. Diane

Great job getting book packaged & going thru grocery papers. My next roll is a "2" which brought me to Empty Kitchen trash & replace bag. I had to add some things to my little list... CD

Ha ha! Yes, little lists have a tendency to grow! That's great, maybe that means you're getting in the cleaning mood! I did 8 minutes on my desk drawer, then remembered I wanted to do a load of laundry tonight--so I started that, then cleaned up the stuff I left out from making the cheese sandwich. Now I have done another throw, and that brings me to washing dishes. Ick. Diane

!!! I don't think that I've ever had one of those "Cleaning Moods" you speak of. So, I really did NOT want to look in those 3 bags that were in the Entry Hall from our trip. One has New Dog's dog bed. I thought one of the two dogs may have peed on it. It smells pretty strong. How does one clean a stanky, hairy dog bed?!! I did spray Febreze on it and covered it loosely with a big black trash bag (the one it was in). Another bag was the Dirty Clothes bag. And the 3rd one was dog blankets that New Dog (we think) threw up on right after we left home. Put away DH's left over nutrisystem food that he had taken from the trip but had left in a box on the *** Boy Chair in the den. Also, a zip bag with DH's meds/personal items was in that box... put that bag in our back bathroom. Not sure yet what to do with my coupon folder that I was trying out keeping it in my car. I had it in my trunk but removed it when we left town & set it in one of the extra boxes that I keep in my trunk, but had also removed for the trip. Hmmmm. May put it back in my car... yep, I think I will. So, put the boxes in a neat stack. And another flat thick cardboard piece that I was going to return will just be kept kind of as a lining in my trunk. I'll take those out in the morning. This last roll was to empty the kitchen trash & replace the bag. Done! Next roll: "1" which brings me to #9 Refill dog food containers. Poof! CD

That last one was fast! I refilled the dog food containers. 30 lb bag for me is pretty heavy. I'm such a weakling. Well, tonight must be my night for rolling 3s. So, that's what I rolled which brought me to #3 Unpack Backpack. Poof! CD

*** Boy Chair This site even censors layzee furniture! Cando, you had the choice of dog pee, dog vomit, or dirty human clothes! Hmm, I don't blame you for choosing another bag altogether. I keep getting sidetracked. I went to look for some ARCs that I was going to send to someone, and realized that these books are "trading" books, and if I could get rid of some of them I could count them in my book purge numbers! So I started looking through, but this will be a bigger project, so I will do it in little bits at a time. I'm going to roll again now and do something more urgent. 10, Organize boxes and envelopes in 2nd BR. Diane

HaHa! I forgot that it would sensor that word. Should have said Rocker Recliner. About the bags... nope I dealt with those bags... well, all I can do for now. I sprayed Febreze on the dog bed (not sure if it just smells of "dog" or if it is actually pee). Then, I covered it with loosely with the bag, but I moved it into the Dining Room where I keep New Dog's bed by the window in there. But, I put it in the corner for now as I don't want her to lay in it right now. The contents of the other 2 bags will need to be washed. So, at least I moved those 2 bags from the Entry Hall and put them in the Laundry Area. That last roll was difficult because i knew that it would be hard to put away the contents of the backpack. I ended up having to toss a couple empty bottles that were sitting on my dresser to make room. One was a full bottle of Nasal Spray but had already been used at least once & an empty bottle of additive for the waterbed. Next roll is "2" which brings me to #6 Put new flour & sugar into new containers & toss the old ones. Hmmm. I wonder if I'll need to rinse the containers first... If so, I won't be able to finish this one until tomorrow...

Oh, okay, I thought maybe you opened the bags and closed them back up and left them there! That's what I probably would have done....
The envelopes and boxes didn't take long, I had pulled several out when packing books and they looked really messy but just took a couple of minutes to put away. So I read some posts and then moved the laundry to the dryer, and while I was in the kitchen I washed the untensils that I had started soaking.
Next throw is: 8, Make temporary cleaning calendar

Well, actually the containers were clean but the lids needed to be washed. So, I did that and left them out to air dry. I tossed the 2 old containers & the flour & sugar that was in them. Both of their lids are terribly cracked & too open to determine the flour & sugar are not contaminated. The flour container will go out with the recycling as it is glass. Next roll "5" which brings me to #4 put away the rest of the groceries from shopping last night.

Did that. Next roll is "5", again, which brings me to #7 Bake Cake. It is a low fat recipe that I've never tried before. Called a "Sprite Cake". It''s actually a weight watcher recipe, although I am not on Weight Watchers. We'll see how it turns out. It is just a Sugar Free Yellow Cake mix. Mixed with 12 oz. of Sprite Zero. It sounds terrible to me, but I'm going to try it. Oh yeah. Butter cream frosting. I don't know how long this will take... may have to clean my muffin tins as I am making cupcakes & I haven't used those in forever! CD

I've heard of a similar cake recipe, I think with 7-Up, which of course, is just like Sprite. Do they still make 7-Up? Now that I've mentioned it I guess I haven't seen it in a while! The cake sounded lower calorie until you mentioned the buttercream frosting!!
I did more dishes, and then decided I wanted a second sandwich, but didn't want to eat another sandwich, so I had some vitamin-fortified cereal instead.
I'm going to have to alternate throws of the dice with things I have to finish tonight, so after I do my next throw (9, pack a book) I'm going to scoop litter pans and give everyone fresh water.
Diane
Oops, I went away and forgot to hit post!

I packed a book, scooped pans, gave fresh water, and hung up half the laundry from the dryer. Next I'm going to do some more dishes, and then I'll decide if I should stay up longer. I'm happy to be getting things done, and now that I have something else to concentrate on I'm not nearly as achy as I was.

Yes, Diane. They still make 7-up. I put the cupcakes in the oven. The Betty Crocker Buttercream Frosting is 110 calories for 2 Tablespoons. I will only use about a teaspoon on mine. So, it won't add that much. I figured the cupcakes to be 163 calories each including the icing. I made 18 cupcakes. So, I don't know if that's a lot of calories or not. But, I am counting calories and am very low today. So, I'm good. They smell good! Next for me is: Put a load of laundry in washer. I forgot what I rolled because I started this post & then the timer went off on the oven. But, I know that was what I ended up with before the timer. I hope they don't taste like a sprite... I don't like lemon-lime flavor. CD
