Wow, you're back already, that was fast! How are the dogs doing, by the way? I dusted through 2 8-minute timers, so that I could finish all the flat surface dusting with the cloth. Next I use my fluffy microfiber duster in the nooks and crannies. I also rolled "quick fridge cleanout" and then PEEP back half of apartment. I'm not totally done with that, there are a few things out that I need to deal with instead of just put away. Next roll: 7, Trading books Diane

You are knocking out that list, Diane! I gave heartworm preventative to dogs. I just noticed that New Dog may have diarrhea... she probably ate something... who knows? Puppy has been doing much better. I increased her Prednisone to 2mg/day and have added in 10mg of PepcidAC. I sure did hate increasing the Prednisone & adding Pepcid. But, she seems so much better. Hindquarter stiffness is gone, she is much peppier & happier. No problems eating or drinking. Next for me is: 4 - Area next to my side of the bed between bed & dresser
Will set timer for 15 min.

Oh I'm glad the Pepcid is helping. Giving it to my old cat as needed has helped decrease his vomiting quite a bit.
I did 8 minutes of work on trading books and then kept going for another 8 minutes. I then rolled "dehair couch and bin cover" but my shy cat is sitting on the bin so I don't want to freak him out. I'm going to work for the next 8 minutes on two items I haven't rolled yet but want to do next, they are Wash cat food dishes, and Sweep problem areas. So I'll do those and be back.

Okay, those things are done, I'm going to do a few more things that I have to do before bedtime--I have to print out a form to bring to my senior client tomorrow, then my end of day stuff.

dtesposito Well, thanks for asking about the dogs. I'm glad the Pepcid is helping your Senior Cat..
Spent 15 min. on area next to my side of the bed between the bed & dresser: put away: Contact Lens drops, 2 brand new nail clippers, 1 new package of wipes. Put 2 greeting cards on Mantle. Put hanger in Laundry Area Put 2 dusty/dirty plastic grocery bags into trash 4 papers “to be shred” Filed 5 receipts. (4 from 2014, 1 from 2013) 29 papers put in recycle bag
My next roll is to Walk the Dogs, but after the loud noise that I heard a few minutes ago and that I am only just now starting to relax after..... I think that I'll either do this one later with DH if he is feeling up to it. He also has Sinus/cough/stuffy ears/throat thing going on. Or I'll do it in the morning. I am keeping it on the list... I really wasn't feeling up to the walk which is why it was on my list... sometimes I put it on as an extra walk, too.
So, next roll is: Empty trash from all rooms/Take trash to outside can/put recyclable boxes & bags of recyclable papers into garage

Good work on the bedroom cleaning, I'll bet it made a big difference!
I ended up getting my phone call so did not do any end of day work yet. I'm going to scoop litter pans and give everyone fresh water now. I would like to spend some time socializing with the parakeet tonight too, she's been making a lot of noise which I think means she's trying to get my attention.

End of day jobs are done, I would like to straighten up a little bit more before I go to bed. Still trying to get to sleep earlier, but it's not working very well.
Cando, I hope you were successful getting all your trash and recycling out. Have a great rest of the evening, and don't stay up too late!

dtesposito Diane, About the bedroom cleaning... it did not even make a dent in this area of my bedroom! I mean, I can tell as it is easier for me to walk with out slipping on papers... but there is still soo much more there! Great job getting your end of day jobs done! Awww... parakeet. I am not real familiar with birds as pets. I had a canary or two growing up, but that's it. I remember that one was named, Mr. Bucks. Wow! I've already forgotten if it used to sing or not. I don't remember it singing. My Grandmother used to have canaries and they would sing so pretty. Last night, just wasn't meant for me to get things done. Right after that last post, I lost my internet. Then, my refrigerator started beeping (evidently it lets you know if things are not cooling or something). It was an alert. Kind of hard to hear it, though. I noticed the slight sound in the kitchen and it actually kind of sounded like water dripping. I walked thru the kitchen & figured out it might be the refrigerator. I opened the freezer & the inside light was dim and blinking... and I opened the refrigerator part & the light was doing the same thing. The beeping was louder with the doors open. I thought it was because the freezer door did not seem like it had been closed well. I didn't even know my refrigerator would make a sound to alert us, so I called my DH. He said to close the doors & leave them closed in hopes that everything would not go bad. He was a little ticked and thought there was something wrong with our rather new refrigerator (only a couple years old). He wanted me to find our warranty & call them out to fix it. I noticed that the sound stopped beeping as frequently but the lights were still dim & flashing. Then, DH (who was almost home when I had called him) arrived and helped me look around since I had called him after that loud "boom" sound I had heard earlier. He noticed the dryer wasn't getting full electricity. And, my home phone was not working. We realized then that we had a partial power outage. I called the power company and reported it and was told it would be restored about 12:30am. Then, we had a full power outage! All the houses on my side of our little street. So -- that is why I didn't return. I am so happy the power is on & working now! I will be back to do more today & will start with Walking the Dogs (weather permitting) and then emptying the trash. I will keep my same list. I may have to take breaks to do the "have tos" if I don't roll them soon enough. Thanks for joining me! CD

Alrighty then. Here we go again. I am still working on the kitchen. I have made a little progress. Stuff on the counters and the table is not stacked as high but it is still not cleared. And the floor is gross. So most of my time will be spent in the kitchen with brief foray or two into the uncharted territory that is my living room. And maybe a quick jaunt through the bathroom.
The List (no more that 15 minutes an item): 1. Laundry step (sort, wash, dry, hand/fold/put away). 2. Dishes - not a lot. 3. Clear kitchen table (will take multiple sessions). 4. Laundry step. 5. -DONE- -DONE- Wipe down stove (defending previously cleared area). Second pass-free choice-Start sweeping/mopping kitchen floor. 6. -DONE- Wipe down part of counters previously cleared. 7. Laundry step. 8. Pick up trash/stuff on living room floor. 9. Assemble new electric grill. 10. -DONE- Clear kitchen table. 11. Sweep/mop kitchen floor. 12. -DONE - -DONE- Laundry step. And another step on Monday. 13. Clear kitchen counters. 14. Quick clean fridge (defending previously cleaned area). 15. Sweep/mop kitchen floor. 16. Walk for 20 minutes. 17. -DONE- Sweep/scrub bathroom floor. 18. Clear kitchen table. 19. Clear kitchen counters. 20. Sort some mail/papers (will take multiple sessions). 21. Carry in weights from car/arm exercises. 22. -DONE- -DONE- Laundry step again on Monday. 23. Sweep/mop kitchen floor. 24. -DONE- Fetch stuff from last shopping trip. 25. Tackle living room hot spot which has spread out from my main sitting area. 26. Check out problem with nightstand light/clock/plug in.
Did these on Saturday.
Roll # 1 - 10 - 10 - Clear kitchen table. Still have piles but they are lower. Roll # 2 - 7 - 17 - Sweep/scrub bathroom floor. Not a great job but light years better than it was. Roll # 3 - 5 - 22 - Laundry step. Threw a load of street clothes into the washer. BONUS EXTRA - Filled the bird feeder. Roll # 4 - 9 - 5 - Wipe down the stove. Easy when it is not loaded with clutter. Bonus: also cleaned microwave.
Took a Sunday break. Items below tackled on Monday.
Roll # 5 - 7 - 12 - Laundry step. Load off street clothes in washer. Roll # 6 - 6 - 18 - Clear kitchen table. Found a spot on shelves for some casserole dishes that had been on the table for months. Threw away an ad that had Santa Claus on it. Roll # 7 - 4 - 22 - Done item...free choice. 1st load in dryer, 2nd load in washer. Roll # 8 - 10 - 6 - Wipe down part of counters previously cleared. Defend my territory. Roll # 9 - 6 - 12 - Repeat - Laundry step - 1st load hung up, 2nd load in dryer. Roll #10 - 12 - 24 - Fetch stuff from last shopping trip. Put away stuff. Much to do today. Not sure how much time I will have this week. Hopefully lots, but I am not totally in charge of my schedule this week and there are some unknowns at this point.
I am going to continue with Saturdays list. I will give myself 'free choice' if I land on an already completed task.
Roll # 5 - 7 - 12 - Laundry step. Load of street clothes in washer. Roll # 6 - 6 - 18 - Clear kitchen table.
