Look at you girls go!! It has been a strange 24 hours. Nice, but strange. Had a busy day at work and couldn't post my Ta Da's and To Do's. Here's what I did this evening after work: -Supper. -Got gas. -Dropped younger son off at friends for sleepover. Older son is with the marching band at a far-away football game, he will be home well after midnight....I pray safely. -Went to Wal Mart to shop for a few things including fixins for tomorrows big football game in Dallas. -Carried all purchases in. -Baked two batches of cookies (pre-mixed dough). -Prepared sausage, pepper, and onion packets for the grill. -Washed all dishes. -Got everything ready for Rotel dip to go in crock pot in the a.m. -Meds to dog. -Talked to fiance......I love using that word! We will meet in the morning to exchange engagement ring and have it sized. This has been a tough decision....he bought a beautiful platinum band with diamonds. He told me to go look (he should know better than to tell a woman to "look" in a jeweler's!!!!) and I did find something that I think will look better on my hand. This will be engagement ring and wedding band. It is lovely. The most beautiful thing I have ever owned. I think that is about it. I am bushed and my knee is killing me and swollen. I shall go sit and do a crossword or look at a catalog until sleep overcomes. Up early in a.m. to prepare potato packets and cheese dip. Have a wonderful rest of the night all!!!

Quick post for today.
Tadas only: 1)dressed2shoes 2)wrote excuse note for DD 3)woke up DD & DS 4)took them to school (DD went late & missed her first 2 classes) 5)went to Sam's Club 6)put all stuff away from Sam's Club 7)made appt. at ob/gyn's office. I haven't been in about 10 years!!! 8)called & left message to schedule appointment with Endocrinologist--Haven't been there since 2003!!!!! I wasn't sure my doctor would even want to see me & that he would tell me to look elsewhere due to my being such a bad patient. (Evidently he has become very selective, now). So, after lots of work (they no longer have my records because it has been so long since I was last there), he decided to accept me back (they called & left a message). The office had wanted me to have my records sent from my primary care physician---well, of course, don't have one as I rarely ever go to any doctor. The closest I had was the ob/gyn but knew it had been so many years since I'd seen that /doctor that I didn't even consider calling them at first. But, then...decided that he was the one who originally referred me to an endocrinologist many, many years ago---about 1990!!!!! So, calledob/gyn's office & they did still have my records but they were archived so had to wait a few days for them to obtain those records, but they had them!!! Yay, me! They copied all the records & sent them to the endocrinologist. So, I did it!!!! Left a message to schedule an appointment! Come to think of it, maybe I'll give them another call since its been a few hours and haven't heard back yet 9)I did it! It is finally scheduled. Appointment with Endocrinologist!!! 10)emptied kitchen trash, sprayed can & replaced bag 11)picked up both kids from school 12)took DD to Marching Band practise -- a later time & at a different stadium further away. They had a specialist come to their practise this time. 13)read info re: training puppy 14)picked up DD 15)took bag of trash to outside can 16)put 3 empty boxes into garage 17)Gave DS meds 18)emptied kitchen trash, again.
That's it, I think... CD
