This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous.
- Do one more little thing.
- Do another little thing.
Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing.
- Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or
depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying
- Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's
- Took pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's:
- Bring plates and glasses to kitchen
- Put dirty socks in hamper
- Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post.
Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das.
YOU DESERVE THEM!

Good morning everyone! My daughter didnt sleep well, so naturally, I didnt sleep well.
TaDa:
1. Got up, and didnt strangle dd.
ToDo:
1. Reboot laundry.
2. Finish application for meeting later today.
3. Get dressed and basic morning hygiene.

Good morning Skatters! Another day off for me! YAY!! Going to make further progress on my kitchen! Yesterday I completed all but 2 cabinets, which I plan to start with today. If I get far enough, I may even (shhhh!) WASH THE FLOOR!!!! That would be something, as it hasn't been done in I don't know how long. Did most of my laundry yesterday, have maybe one load to do, and dishes are nearly caught up. Soooo..............here goes! Ta Da!  Up & windows open Breakfast eaten and meds/vites taken Boxes scooped and fresh food/water for cats To Do:  Shower & dress Do dishes & put them away Throw in load laundry Carrie |

Hi everyone. Good luck Skatters and Carrie. Hope your daughter's ok Skatters. Well done for resisting the urge to strangle her anyway!!!  I didn't do anything yesterday (apart from a little handwashing) as I went out for the day and evening with my OH and DD. I can't see me doing much today, sadly. It's already 2.30pm for one thing! And also my chesty cough is still bleugh!!! I only got about 3 hours sleep last night, and that was disturbed. That said, here are my WITs for today. TADAs: Got up! Believe me, a struggle! Made breakfast. Coughed a lot!! TODOs: Go to the shop (need bread and something for tea). Washing. Cough less!! (not looking achievable!!  ) |

Good morning Skatters, Carrie, and Sapphire. I hope that your days go well. Carrie, good luck with the cabinets. They'll look so good when they're done! Skatters, I hope you get to nap later. I rarely sleep well so I understand how hard it is to function without much sleep. Sapphire, I hope you feel better soon. Bronchial coughs are the pits.  I have a few things to do today after breakfast. 1. Go see a sick friend at the hospital. (She has breast cancer. ) 2. Laundry. 3. Grocery shopping. 4. Drop off film to be developed. 5. Swiffer floors. (I've put this off for 3 weeks or more.  ) Be back later with updates.  3G |

Hi all, Have been away for 3 weeks and missed you all. We were in our RV. It is amazing how much easier it is to keep that neat and clean, partly because we only have what we need in there--NO CLUTTER! Back to the grind TaDas up and meds walked dog and ate breakfast ToDo make bed--done put wash in dryer-done clear bedroom floor-done See you later!

Clean up lunch and breakfast mess.
Get myself ready for work.
After work: cook dinner and clean up afterwards.

Iprocrastinate--I'm assuming you were on a trip? If so, hope you had fun & where'd you go?

I have a bunch of tadas so I posted them on Accountability Partner's thread.
Will post todos for now:
1)eat lunch-- today first day dieting and I didn't mean to wait so late to eat...did have part of an apple & a glass of water so far today.
2)put load of laundry in washer
3)go thru stack of paper that I have on one of my kitchen chairs... I am looking for tax papers as DH & I will do our taxes today. So, may not go thru and get rid of much as we are in a hurry to get this done and I am behind with my time today...
