i so very very sleepy. it's not quite 4am yet. there was chaos this morning involving no clean thermals, a mancreature who thinks he'll die if he's not kept in a monitored environment between 75-78 degrees, weatherbug saying it was 45 degrees out, and his one and only pair of thermals missing. i found them in the dirty laundry hamper. he insists he has another pair in storage i insist that this must never, ever happen again, or if it does it must never happen before 8am again. seriously. today i'm catching up on -all- laundry and inventorying his closet. i took a look around but did not get a list made. so add that to the todo list. he is a sweetie and made me tea tho. all forgiven.

Hi Everyone! My family and I went thru a round with a nasty stomach virus. In my life I have been blessed with great immunities and only twice before(even in childhood) have I fallen ill to such a virus. I feel better today and will probably be able to work. I missed work yesterday. It started with my 88 year old motherinlaw getting violently sick and I took her to the ER -- and had her stay with us 3 days while she recovered, then my husband, then her daughter and friend, then the last hold out -me- got sick. I'm grateful I feel better today. My bout with it was mild compared with the others. My Tuesday.......... Shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dress, fix hair eat breakfast call work and check in with the nurse work 10 to 2 if authorized wash dishes rest when I get home light supper clean up a little and sanitize things better

Good morning, djollydjolan and Chris. Djolly, you have got so much done already! I hope you get the sleep you need later today in a nap (if you are so inclined) or that you get to bed early tonight. WTG on the laundry & closet inventory project. I was just thinking last week that I'm going to have to get out my thermals soon. Not yet, though, as it's still considered Indian Summer here. But it is cooler this morning and winter will be here in no time. Chris, I'm glad to read that you are feeling better. That must have been some virus if you got sick, considering your high resistance to illness. CanDo, you certainly CAN DO a lot of stuff in one day. Yesterday's list was remarkable! Annieoakie, congratulations on the happy results of your day yesterday. It's great the kids like your fiance. Celeste, it was great to see you on the Accountability Partners thread yesterday. Fluffychild, finding that credit card was great. I've done the same thing myself. Why, do I do that, I ask myself. Some habits die hard. Maybe Bruce Willis would do a movie on the subject? eagle's Tuesday got up early put on the coffee went back to sleep for an hour borrowed Celeste's checkmark wrap presents for granddaughter to mail went to the Post Office to pick out the mailing package for granddaughter's present laundry: one dryer load shower, dress, make-up 8:30 Chamber of Commerce meeting paid some bills updated checking information ordered some supplies for restaurant (we ran out of some dishwash machine chemicals) go to work write office To Do list (for restaurant) take a break from the restaurant walked outdoors, enjoyed the crispness of the air, the beauty of the leaves clean something throw something away started reading that book (that I talked about elsewhere) donate something vitamins (put off until tomorrow morning) apple

Retrieve my purse (Finally!) Accompany Dad to his doctor's appointment Tell Eagle she's welcome to use the new light checkboxes (Hint, hint, Eagle!) Mail Shelli's DVD Help Dad get the trash out Go outside and enjoy the autumn (The oak tree in our front yard is beginning to turn copper around the edges. It is a beautiful tree in the fall and a neighborhood favorite.) Create a "Moving Mom To-Do List" Update MP's website for Aberdeen venue this week Recharged cell phone and bought more credits Iron name labels onto the clothes I washed for Mother yesterday Contact law office about activation of Mother's Power of Attorney Djollydjolan - Wow. Your tasks tend to be much more complex than mine and you've blown a huge hole in a large list already. Well done! You are inspiring me this morning. Chris - That sounds like a NASTY flu virus. I'm so relieved your mother-in-law made it through all right. It can be so tough on elders, can't it? Glad you feel better, but don't be afraid to scale back if your energy flags during the day. As you probably know, even mild cases of the flu can take a lot out of our reserves. Take care of yourself! Eagle - You didn't fool me! I saw that "Write office to-do list" hidden in the middle of your home to-do list! You are doing more to-dos off the record, aren't you? Actually, it did make me realize that I could use a "Moving Mom To-Do List", which is why you see it above. I'm also adding the "enjoy the outdoors". Thanks for the wonderful additions. In postscript, let me add that you are more than welcome to use the new light checkboxes. Enjoy! annieokie - Your popcorn invitation came over loud and clear! I can almost taste it. Hope you sell a lot. You certainly would if I were your next-door-neighbor! Saffron - Thanks for the welcome! You've been a busy bee! Good work! Onward and upward, everyone!

Hi Everyone! I am so inspired when I read all you are doing and getting done! I did everything on my little list except relax, so I intend to do that now - along with a little more laundry. I have sheets and towels from the sick time and some blankets too. But I already ate a light supper and so now I will take purposeful rest to be ready for tomorrow.
Today went well even with less than 100% energy. Tomorrow we have water aerobics and a doctor appointment so I need to have a bit more energy.
Good luck everyone - and I'll be back tomorrow!

OMG!!! I can't get over how much was done today on this thread alone!!!
Eagle--thanks for noticing my exceptionally long list of tadas yesterday. That was the best day I've had in years ...as far as getting things done. I have been feeling better & sleeping better. I do list lots of leetle things, though, too. But, since my minimum goal is to have 25 things listed... I felt very good about my progress yesterday. Today; however, was another story. But that's okay as I had one major achievement which you will read in my tada list below.
Chris--I'm glad you are feeling better & hope that your family is well now. Sounds like a nasty virus, bug or whatever.
Celeste--I noticed that fantastic list that you made in another thread!
Saffron-- I luv your busy bee post! Yay, you!!!
It's already a new day, but I'm posting my tadas now & then going to sleep.

Done at about 3am.
