Hi everybody! I have tried this before but this time I am dead serious about CLEANING every single room/area in my house, garage and basement. I quit SMOKING for over a year now and if I could do that after 30 years...then I sure as heck can clean up my "mess". I used to be a huge pack rat (nice word for slob). I think I will lurk for a bit.

Welcome, Leo!
Oh, Leo. Lurking is great; however, you might surprise yourself and get more done by going to the Listzilla forum & hanging out in the Working in Threes (WITs) thread or on another thread in Listzilla. Don't let the name, "Listzilla" scare you. You are not required to make any lists. But, there is a lot of support in that forum & things get done!
Welcome, once again. CD

Thank you for the welcome , quitting smoking was one of the hardest things I have ever done. A few of the names here look familiar... ...I was trying to toss a pink shirt way back when I joined the other group and I am still wearing it TODAY! I was able to toss a lot of things but I still have a ton to go. I HATE WASTE and it is my big downfall. I will dig it back out of the trash unless it is gone RIGHT AWAY. I am really really ready this time...I CAN DO THIS! I am sick of keeping curtains closed and not answering the door. I want to be free of clutter.

Saving things from going to the landfill isn't much help to the world if our homes become landfills. It has been a difficult change for me to let things go that are still useful. But I do find that the more things that I let go, the easier it is to let the next thing go, too.
You can do it! If you can quit smoking, you can do anything!!!

Welcome aboard, Leo!! Wow, quitting smoking is a hard one. It shows how determined you can be. Now that you have decided once and for all to clean up the mess, the clutter doesn't stand a chance! I am sure you will win the cleaning battle.

Welcome, leo !
Lurk away if you wish, but it really can be more fun if you post as well.
Either way, it's good to have you here.

Hi Leo,
Welcome! I can't say that my home is any cleaner since I have joined. But I am feeling better about it, and I am bringing home a lot less stuff. And I am especially feeling a lot better about myself.
Wish you luck!
