Eagle--I hope you have a nice day.
I will be working in Vivre's thread 5*10*15 today and will post all the tadas here, too. I like to have in one place the things I've done.
Y'all, I feel so bad. Yesterday I was terribly depressed because I thought that my DS did not want me to be at his Engineering/Robotics contest. He hever told me what time or anything and he just has not seemed to want to tell me much about it. Seems always embarrassed to be around me. I did not know anything about the contest other than taking and dropping him off at the meetings and taking him his laptop. I asked once or twice for details but he was terribly vague and kind of mumbled. I wanted to go soo bad. But, I made myself stay away...
Well, this morning he asked why I didn't come... We talked about it and now I just want to cry all over again.
Tadas Today: 1)folded/hung Load of laundry 2)put Load in washer 3)washed all dishes, casserole, and a pot 4)washed dogfood bowl 5)washed about 1/3 of kitchen table. 6)washed top of stove 7)washed front & top of microwave, and knobs. 8)washed refrigerator door handles 9)washed top of toaster 10)washed a couple sink counters
11)put away/throw away 10 things: empty sack that was hanging from a hook in laundry area for a week & a half -- put in recycle bag. a small sack that has been on my sink counter for about a month -- put in recycle bag 2 papers that DD printed & left on Kitchen table -- put in recycle bag. stuffed toy from a kids meal that hwas been on kitchen table for a week & 1/2 -- put into giveaway bag pack of gum that was on kitchen table for a week & a half that was given to DD but she never put away -- took it to her & told her to put it away, she did (I think). already folded/hung load of laundry -- gave to DS for him to put away since they were his. He put some away & put a stack on his bed. )5 bottles/jars -- put in recycle bag ***noticed DS had put 10 bottles into recycle bag all from his bedroom!!! Yay, DS!!! He did leave the lids on them & they want us to remove those as they said they cannot recycle them. So, I did that. I didn't think that I should say anything to him about that right now... I have told the kids in the past, but obviously he had not even been putting them in recycle bag. 10 lids from bottles in recycle bag -- put in trash can. picked up some dog hair from kitchen floor & put in trash can. Did this 3X!!!!!!! grocery list that had been on kitchen table for over a week -- put on refrigerator with new list. 12)Walked DAngelDog & self for 15 minutes. 13)changed clothes, brushed teeth & hair,a little make-up 14)went to dinner at friend's house with my kids 15)went to grocery store for a few items 16)gave meds to puppy 17)boiled some eggs 18)10 things put away/throw away: 2 shoesboxes put in garage for recycling put load of laundry away put another load of laundry away put 2 bags of groceries away put old rotisierri chicken leftovers, 2 bags of moldy shredded cheese, bag of unopened, but moldy baby carrots tossed in trash put plastic wrapping in trash put handful of mail in recycle bag put 1 piece of mail on DD's bed put handful of mail in DS's room put bills in Office in a Bag 19)reviewed bills 20)moved load of laundry into dryer.
21)moved load of laundry into dryer 22)put load of laundry in washer 23)moved load of laundry into dryer 24)folded/hung load of laundry 25)put another load of laundry in washer 26)washed lunch dishes & skillet 27)gave fresh water to dogs 28)folded load of laundry 29)signed DS's form & gave him 10 dollars for National Honor Society 30)refilled dog food containers from big bagCD

Start list of final items to gather before Mom's move-in Take over a few "day before" items Fanfare chat Wow, Eagle, you are almost done with your list when I START. Good work, my friend. Cando. Kids believe in ESP. Fact of life. Sigh. I AM sorry you missed this, but perhaps it will remind your DS that he needs to communicate better.

Cando - Sometimes men don't want to toot their own horn. Maybe he didn't want to make a big deal out of the contest but at the same time was hoping you would go? I'm sorry it didn't work out for you:(
Here are my goals for today: Desqualor junk room (I mean my son's fancy bedroom that has wall to wall clutter, but is the last squalored room in the house) Mop floors (kitchen and bathroom) vacuum bedroom floor about eight loads of laundry (taken to laundry mat, one at a time because I am afraid if I do it all at once I won't put it away) Add mini trash can to porch to hold junk mail Hang up pictures that have been sitting on the ground since I moved in July.

maintained me- i took a shower, moisturised, put up hair<if you can call the birdsnest that> makeup, jewelry, dressed.
maintained masterbath- wiped down sink, counter, toilet, swished toilet, swept and swiffered floor, scooped catbox
started to pick up the bedroom in which mancreature is still sleeping. found myself highly resentful. highly. highly resentful. calling it quits for awhile and going for a walk, get a mocha, enjoy the sun. he who is a *** bum and refuses to get out of bed and help will not receive coffee from local cafe. slightly hostile, but i said- i needs halp now. and he grunted and went back to sleep. yesterday he promised to halp and did barely anything. my ire is raised. then again, that's just part of what happens when you cohabitate with someone. still love him to pieces and life goes on.

decided i wanted to do maintenance on the hallway and animals bathroom and start some laundry before i left, no sense cutting off my nose to spite my face so- animal's bathroom- counter sink, cabinet, toilet wiped down. toilet swished, floor swept and swiffered, litterbox scooped, candles replaced and lit.
went to pick up laundry and uhm.. a sick cat on a hefty dose of narcotics=a sacked out cat.. who peed. in his sleep. how mortifying for mr. kittens.. how upsetting for me. how -very- upsetting for mancreature who was sharing the bed with him. he wasn't trying to be a bad cat, just a cat with an infection, very high fever, on a high dose of narcotics<henceforth known as narCATics> sigh. usually the animals are very good. this was very -not- good. so mancreature's up, showered, i said i'd go get him a coffee, the bed's totally stripped anthe animal's bathroom now has a waist high pile of laundry in it to do. sigh.
i'm just glad he's feeling better. gave him a -half- dose of his pain meds. gave gracie he arthritis meds, oz isn't due til tomorrow. woot

I was happy that he asked me about why I didn't come because it really put a damper on my day yesterday. And, I really was thinking that he has no love for me and that I have screwed up with him. We have been having problems lately to the point that I really was starting to believe that he truly does hate me.

ah cando, i know he doesn't hate you just from the other things you say... my mom thought i hated her sometimes when i was a teenager and i know i always, always loved her.. it's just rough years to go through as a kid:/ sorry you had all that hurt in ya. glad you got to see though that he does care and value you and the time you spend with him, bummer on miss the contest but what a much greater better thing to be assured of:/
yeah, kitty's doing fine now, and it's all good.we'll just have an extraclean bed to sleep on tonight, right?:> he got some more meds and his temp taken again and it's a nice 102, warm but not totally unusual for him and a far improvement from 104.8 the only reason they let him come home rather than holding him there was that i said i'd take his temp regularly and bring him in if it broke 105 and he showed no other signs of infection.. no swollen nodes, fully hydrated, no loss of appetite.. mr chunky man was eating -in the vets office- in the place of cat stress and fear he was chowing down. so they released him even though the fever was super freaky. he can pee on whatever he wants to, or can't avoid, for the next few days. i was just really. really worried about him:/ now he's back to mostly normal. just super tender foot, poor guy:/
mancreatures copying all my old hard drives to dvd so i can throw away the box of hard drives, yeay:>
i'm doing laundry. i sat down and slothed for awhile. going to go clean up the bedroom

well, i'd already picked up most of the mess in the bedroom earlier today so i just went in and wiped all the furniture down with murphy's oil soap cleaned window and glass pic frames and mirror vacuumed swiffered the bamboo floor mat
waiting for all the bedding to go dry so i can remake the bed but not much to do about that. want to shampoo the carpet today, but guess i'll do it all the rooms at once.
talked to the vet and got official ok to change his pain med schedule.

hahaha my kitchen is disgusting, ditto diningroom and livingroom. i sat down and had a good cry. mancreature came and did sitting meditation with me then held me and made me tea. i have a strangling credit load, i miss mom, i still have so much of her stuff to go through and i just fall apart alot.
drank my tea and decided the next thing i wanted to do was nowhere on my todo list but would be gratifying... he halped d me set up the diatom filter on the reef tank, then i pulled out all the pumps and equipment and soaked them in finger them scrubbed em with the filter brush so they'll be nice and shiny to go back in when the water's sparkly... need mechanical filtration for the tank, did fine for months without it but now it gets too gunky too fast without it. that's ok, just need to do something about it.. this is a way to get it back to really clean and tidy without messing up any of the inhabitants... need to let that filter til the water's clear then i can set the tank back up, want to label all the cables when i do and wall mount the electrical plugins too when i do it...
mancreature's setting up our tmobile landline for us so we can get rid of vonage, 20 dollars a month saved. that's good.
i'll go do the dishes now, a big sink full of warm and sudsy water can't be -that- bad of a thing eh?
