I just put away all the clean dried dishes from last night. Does that count?

Been busy and didn't check in the last couple days. Dishes done 1-2 times a day. Already unloaded this morning, loaded & running the few that got dirtied last night/this am.

this thread is really helpful I loaded the dishwasher before I went to bed last night - it's so nice not to walk into a kitchen full of dirty dishes in the morning

I agree that this thread is helpful. I have been reading it but not posting. I have my sinks cleaned out and the dishes done in the dishwasher. (My sink is usually a mess) I haven't unloaded the dishes yet but I will when I get home. If I don't I will just let the dishes pile up again. Thank you for the inspiration.

Ima - as far as I'm concerned it does count. Token effort count too - to my way of thinking. Its just at some stage you need to be doing more tan a token effort, unless the token effort is repeated many times over. I washed up last night. I'm trying to get it done by 10pm. Also wiped the splash back. Later I emptied a bag I traveled with at Christmas, and have a new stack waiting for today. I thought I posted the following link yesterday but didn't. lifehacker.com/281626/jerry-seinfelds-productivity-secretIt might work for some. I think arid used it to begin and maintain her winning streak. I admit I haven't kept it up myself.

Good job, irisbloom! I got all my dishes washed up this afternoon. I'm having a Lean Cuisine for supper, so won't dirty anything but a fork.

WHAT IS IT about men? "Darl" I said after dinner last night "Would you put this in the dishwasher". So Darl (DH) did. The dishwasher was full. Did he turn it on? NAH !! He KNOWS that the dishwasher gets turned on after dinner at night. It's one of the house hold laws. There seems to be a distinct lack of connectivity in his brain between looking at full dishwasher and turning it on !! So I walk out into the kitchen this morning, and guess what? No dishes have been done !! Obviously the live-in domestic staff have been very slack in her duties

The dishwasher is running, there are a FEW dishes in the sink in hot soapy water -- they will go in DW in the AM. I am heading to bed tonight!

I sprayed and wiped the right counter. Tomorrow, I hope to clean the grout better. Put six dishes in sink. No garbage in sight!

Yesterday, I washed dishes twice (3 sinkfuls total). Also, put away hand=washed stuff from drainboard & unloaded dishwasher. In addition, I washed off the top of stove, twice, and the sink counters twice. Also, cleaned the oven. (well, just turned it on as it is a self-cleaning oven). CD
