booboo - you are doing a great job! I am like you - MUST keep going! Though the World Series is not much of a distraction... baseball moves too slow for me. Maybe make a point of doing one quick thing during each commercial break?
TaDa: 1. Picked up the rest of the floor. 2. Cleaned LR surfaces. 3. Vacuumed.
ToDo: 1. Clean kitchen counters. 2. Clean off island. 3. Reload dishwasher.

Greenfuzz still no hot water?! That is just nuts. I understand getting disheartened. Keep up the hard work, though. You are inspiring many of us!
Tadas:
Remembered Doc appt. Got there on time-a biggie for me. Found receipt for something at work--$100.00 for us!
Todos:
Nail appt. Time for a trim. Finish banking. Closing work.

Ever since I cleaned out the coffeemaker I've been able to get things done in the morning before work. Coincidence? I think not. Ta Dah!- Did a strainer-full of dishes
- Cleaned off the toaster oven and swept the floor beneath it
- Played tug o' war with Puppy
To Do- Finish cleaning Kitchen Table and put up (My kitchen has a Murphy Table - when it's up I can't set things on it!)
- Bring all clothes into the laundry room
- Do another strainer-full of dishes

Someday - I love how cleaning is sometimes 'contagious'! Great job on creating a new morning routine... and love the idea of a murphy table! TaDa: 1. Reloaded dishwasher. 2. Removed clutter from island and counters. 3. Reorganized dog stuff, and fed and watered her. ToDo: 1. Spray down counters and stove top. 2. Sweep the kitchen floor. 3. Clean counters and stove top. Oh, and island too.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all your awesome warm thoughts! It worked as my heat and hot water went on about an hour ago! I never thought I would enjoy doing the dishes so much! Soo what can I do to right the train that's been a little off the track because of this situation? Take a hot bath (tub might need a little wipe prior) unload dish drainer when dishes are dry finish last of dishes clean countertop The rest is just enjoy myself. It's going to be good to be clean!! Maybe I'll give myself a manicure. Thanks to everyone. You have really helped me through this situation. ________________________ UPDATE: SUPER IS HERE, SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO FIX DRIPS AND LEAKY TOILET TANK!!!

hoped to get to the gym to wash my hair today (maybe even a tiny workout?) but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it. it's the cheapie gym and it closes early -- I will be 21 blocks from home (and the gym bag) at 8:30 (plus talk to people time) and the gym is another twelve or thirteen blocks further -- and they start getting antsy about closing things down at 9 something...
not officially closed till 9:30, but I think they lock the door at a bit after nine?
Today I:
meditated did a lesson put on pants and earrings and a watch (big kudos on the watch)
tweezer makeup deod
took yesterday's messed up items to the laundry room, where I handwashed all three in the sink with hot water. emptied container there -- and tossed in an outside bin brought wet things and detergents back to home. inquired at library about my long since ordered book forwarded M. the thing i promised yesterday to forward him responded immediately to membership renewal notice from SMC
went to Eviction place, thanked guy for good advice tried to get appointment at legal clinic tomorrow -- they said it didn't exist. gave the guy my name and email for next week if it will happen. Resolve to keep trying elsewhere. or at regular hours there. Need it.
Decant. Enter pch online threw out all the food I got late yesterday.
Put Lisa's hat in a small plastic bag -- near front door so can return to her. Ate 3 small oranges -- I'm sick and have run out of Vit. C. also tossed last night's bag of dirtied paper.
Do: T. Mtg., Duane Reade, chat?, empty wet things out and leave to dry.

Woohoo! Congrats, greenfuzz! Argh...the two big places where I want to hang pictures are being bratty and won't take my drywall hooks. Grrrr...I could hang a poster there, but I don't want to put poster tape on them. I want to frame them before they go up on my walls. *sigh* Ta Dah!- Hung one picture, two huge iron skeleton keys, and two mini-cards.
- Dishes are soaking in the sink (load #2)
- 15 min. on paper (I've managed to empty 2 whole boxes and rescue a corner of my living room!)
To Do!- 15 more minutes on paper
- Empty boxes out of car in prep for shopping trip of DOOM
- Hit two stores tonight....my wallet is terrified. My apartment is quivering in anticipation.
- Tell stupid boy to stop being stupid.

Well super was here. He seems to have temporarily fixed the toilet. But he wants to change my shower entirely and bathroom sink faucet. And to do the kitchen floor. But to do all of this I have to let the building manager in tomorrow AM.
So I'm going to set my alarm get up early and do some work on the bathroom to clean the moldy wet floor and the dirty kitchen floor.
ToDo's for tomorrow AM:
Wake up around 7-8 wash floors wipe out bathroom tub wipe out bathroom sink.

Wow...I wasn't kidding about the DOOM part of the shopping trip. It ended up being a bit cheaper than I thought it would be, and making a list early in the day definitely made it more efficient. I counted at least five people who laughed at me as I struggled to get my new bookcase in my car. As I was cleaning, I realized that half of my clutter problem is the actual clutter-and-messie habit part, and the other half is my utter lack of storage. Cando, I'm going to try to be nice to myself and get a decent night's sleep, but I'll still be working for the next couple of hours. ...and you can bet that I'll be leaving from work as soon as humanly possible tomorrow, to continue this from about 4-midnight tomorrow. That bookshelf is going up TONIGHT, though. I'll be able to sleep much better, knowing that I've shown some love to the paper...considering how much I've thrown away so far, tonight. Ta Dah!- Gave stupid boy what for.
- Shopping trip accomplished, with great success.
- Some of the pre-shopping crap is out of my car.
- 15 more min. of paper...it's neverending!
To Do!: Operation "Finish-What-I-Started"- Put away shopping acquisitions
- Wash pre-soaked dishes
- Eat dinner...yeah, yeah, I know it's late

Ta Dah!- Put away new purchases
- Hung two more pictures!
- Eating dinner during the 9th inning.
To Do!- Dishes. Clearly, I keep avoiding them.
- 15 more min. of papers to finish up this pile for the night.
- Shower and force myself to go to bed. ...easier said than done.
The past two days have been terribly difficult, and terribly enlightening. I still have so much work to do, but I'm really starting to feel like I can handle it. I'll be back tomorrow for my morning routine, and then again after work (around 4 P.M. EST). Thanks to all of you for helping me to keep my head up today. I really needed it.
