This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing.
Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post.
Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a good one, despite a spiteful, poisonous email from an ex yesterday that made me cry! Thankfully, I have the best, most supportive and loving fiance in the world, and although it's left me shaken, I'm not beaten! I am still motivated to do my tasks today!!! TADAs: Got up. Packed OH off to work. Took dog out. TODOs: 1 hour de-squaloring bedroom. 15 minutes de-squaloring kitchen. Go to shop to buy for something for tea.Good luck everyone with your own TODOs!

Good morning sapphire and Carrie! You guys have gotten an early jump on this morning. Yay!
My son woke me up early, as he is not feeling well and wanted permission to stay home from school. Appears to be a cold - miserable, but not awful. So he is home for the day.
TaDa: 1. Took care of son. (Called in to school, meds, made comfy on the couch.) 2. Started laundry. 3. Ate breakfast.
TaDa: 1. Get DD up and dressed. 2. Get DD's breakfast. 3. Get DD's backpack ready to go.
ToDo: 1. Find clean socks and shoes for all. 2. Get DD and neighbor to school. 3. Try to take a *quick* nap. Like Carrie, I am still very sleepy.

Great job on the bedroom and kitchen, Sapphire! You are very inspiring. I think I may do my bedroom today as well. I really want to rearrange it, but it will take some serious uncluttering and cleaning first. Good project for today, so I don't get stuck downstairs with my son hacking and coughing - and watching sci fi (which I detest) as well.
TaDa: 1. All kids to school dressed, hair done, fed and shoes with clean socks. In that non-hurried way that makes our day start off so well. 2. Rebooted laundry. Got blankets in. I hope to get all three beds bedding (including mattress covers, sheets and quilts/blankets) washed today. 3. Puppy outside.
ToDo: 1. Take a quick nap. 2. Open bedroom blinds & light scented candle. 3. Gather cleaning supplies needed to start bedroom. (Duster, all-purpose cleaner, vacuum, and TONS of garbage sacks.)
Ok - I am off to take my nap. Will check back in SOON. (Or so I tell myself.)

5. Eat a cookie. 5. Make call.

Hypatia - hope you all get to feeling better soon! Snailspace - EXCELLENT Job on getting that phone call done! I am exactly the same way - down to the eating cookie part! But I usually find that when it is all over, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Brenda - great job on the bathrooms! WOOT! TaDa: 1. Spent far too much time online regarding job stuff. But found a couple of positions I applied for. Just looking to make a bit of extra income. TaDa: 1. Set timer for picking up DD from school. 2. Find shoes and socks. My feet are freezing! 3. Reboot laundry. (Bedding load #3 in washer now.) ToDo: 1. Take puppy out. 2. Clean 2 feet of bedroom floor. 3. Pick up 10 items from bedroom floor.
