He did post in the Purge-a-thon thread. I meant to post here, too. I'm posting too many places.

It is wonderful to see how you all keep on keeping on. Surely the end of the backlogs must be in sight.
Rob, using someone's washing machine while house sitting is a clever idea. Once the clothes are clean, it is worth considering whether you really need them all.

Went to Laundromat & washed many clothes for donation; dropped off bags @ St. Vincent de Paul's shed/bin on Church parking lot. They go to homeless shelters. And they are OUT OF MY HOUSE !

Once the clothes are clean, it is worth considering whether you really need them all. I'd considered the move to the nudist colony, but it's not the right time, just yet. 22 bags in 22 days.

Rob, that is very funny. You know what I mean though: the standard advice is to keep the clothes that fit and suit you that you will definitely wear and donate or sell the others. Most of us have a surplus: mistakes and impulse buys are common.

I admit I haven't exactly been doing this daily. But my daughter came over and we worked together on two major de-clutter jobs. We cleaned my downstairs bathroom and its' closet. Then the next week we cleaned my bedroom. She picked up every item off the floor (mostly clothing) and put everything away properly. Both projects resulted in a big bag of trash taken out and discarded. I've been maintaining ever since and I'm very pleased.

WTG Jannie. Nice that your dd could help, and good for you for maintaining. That must feel great.
Tonight I deleted 503 emails. (Catcat don't be too impressed. Right now I am working on emails from 2009 and 2010. I think my emails rivaled my paper piles in amount.)
