Thanks, def6 I need to sort a laundry basket of full of socks. They are clean and paired up, but I need to get rid of about half of them. One person does not need that many socks! But then what? Do donation places even take socks?

Happy birthday, sue5000 Why would donation places do not take socks, when they are nice and clean and paired? Just try it. I am more than half way done with scrubbing my hallway. More work there than I thought - I have not realised there are 6 doorframes to scrub too. Update: the hallway is done completely including moving stuff back and I organised a kitchen cupboard. To do by Saturday: sort the two other shelves of the cupboard mop all floors dust and hoover take away recycling and most of all: Enjoy my beautifull kitchen!

Clothing donation places do take single socks. They sell them as rags to other recycling companies. At least I can get rid of them and the charity might make a little money. Fgood!
