Glowworm originally suggested doing 30 challenges .... in the style of Illuminata's challenges on the prior forum. Illuminata used to do 30 days in a row of challenges ... during a season, or in preparation for an event. They are fun, goofy, and inspiring. Most importantly, they can be SMALL challenges (or as large as you wish). Just do take one action (of the theme of the day) to make your life better. It can be a little thing. Here's how Glowworm beautifully explained the concept: Re: Illuminata's fun challenges
For those who didn't see this on the old board, Illuminata picked a word for the day, and challenged the rest of us to find something to desqualor or clean that was related to that word. For example, if the word was "cold" you could clean out old food in your refrigerator (which is cold inside) or pick up tissues off the floor from the cold you had last week, or pick up your coat (which you wore because it was cold outside that day) and hang it in the closet. These types of challenges are fun, crazy, and creative. They can be done as a game, for the whole family. Wow.. nice start to the challenges. I'm late because I'm hungover. Lovely. The first word shall then be : [glow=red,2,300]drink[/glow] Maybe to clean your drinking glasses, or drink 8 glasses of water (if you don't already, you naughty girl), change the cat's drinking water, clean thedrinking taps... I don't know. Just do it quietly, whatever it is. My head hurts. I'm going back to bed, I'll see you all tomorrow.

I`m drinking coffee at the moment , trying to get myself woke up. As soon as my kids empty the dishwasher, I`ll be loading it again with lots of drinking glasses, as well as whatever else needs washed. Hope you feel more human when you wake up again~

Well, my houseplants are in desperate need of "a drink," so I'm going to go water them!
Thanks for the motivation. I've been procrastinating all week about this!

- First, I cleared off the part of my kitchen countertop where the coffepot is. Then I rinsed the dust off the coffeepot which I haven't used for a while. Washed a cup and a spoon. Said a "mental thank you" to Inga_Rea (member of our old forum) who gave me the coffeepot many months ago when she came to my home to help me desqualor. Then I ground some coffee beans in the electric food grinder. Today's selection: Bolivian Fair Trade Organic coffee. Brewed a pot of coffee. Although I (almost) lack a sense of smell (was born that way) ... coffee is one of the few things I actually CAN smell. So I really enjoy the smell of it brewing. Poured myself a huge cup. Added some organic free tree chocolate. And some organic half-and-half. And a dash of real vanilla. I haven't been using my coffeepot lately. I had been buying coffee to go at coffee stands. And wasting money. Said a toast to all of you. Especially to UdderChaos for starting this thread. Now I have a clean counter, and some great coffee! And I saved money by using supplies already in my home. Now the next step is to have a second cup of coffee, and savor and enjoy it fully. Then wash my spoon and cup. And then empty then coffee grinds from the coffeemaker into the trash. Preparing and drinking this coffee has been a sumptuous experience! Now I am psyched to finish clearing the counters, to drink some water, and maybe even clean other parts of my home! Cheers! -

Oh my gosh! The dogs just pounced on me with kisses that smelled like "ROAD KILL"! I gagged and ran for the cupboard that contained the sweet essense of doggie breath! :oFrantically, I cleaned the water dish, then poured a half a capful of Suzies Tartar Liquid Tartar Remover into it. They lapped up their drink of sweetness with frenzy, leaving them with fresh breath and a sparkle to their teeth.

Drink lots of water: done.
I threw away the drinking glasses that look like someone used a diamond ring to scratch up the insides. Probably how they got this was was not quite so exotic. In any case, we have plenty of drinking glasses, so we don't really need to keep these three.

Now to today's challenge.

I also forgot to check for the challenge yesterday! I did clean out a drinking bowl for the cat yesterday, as it turns out, so that will have to do!

Busy day, could not even get to the board yesterday.
Have taken care of all the loose cups around the house that the kids need because they cannot be expected to keep ahold of one for the day.
