Hi Lioness--Thank you for your message about DA. I was feeling so discouraged after 3 "off" weeks of meetings not coming together -- either no one there or only 2 of us. Your ideas help. I have continued to work the program myself - I just got into a low place because the meetings used to be worth it and now I have all but given up on that aspect. Our local "group" sort of fizzled out. If I don't go because of it - well then I add to the problem I guess. I've always been an "all or nothing" person - I try to change that about myself. *********************
Today I am getting a lot of work done at home as well as a lot of financial planning for November. It feels good to be checking things off my list and getting things I want to do done!!!!

Thanks for the welcome wishes, Lioness! Good for you for having a DA meeting even when no one else is there. That's commitment! You rock! Thanks for the the hug, Saffron. You were a very busy bee today! Well done! By the way, if you want more checkbox options, I just made a heart-shaped one for tiredofthis. At the present time, I don't have any plans to add it to the emoticons line-up except near Valentines Day, so grab it while you can.

Good advice that the mtgs. are a tool, not the program. Would apply to other organizations, as well. Oh ! Right !
This SOS forum is a TOOL and not the program? I still actually have to CLEAN my house? Oooohhhhhhh. Apparently just reading and posting alone won't magically get my home vacuumed. Hmmmmm.
Very well... grumble grumble grumble ...... I promise to vacuum today. Will report back later. In support CL I will do something with the vacuum today too - well it will be tomorrow for you - Sunday here Thank you all. I really didn't want to vacuum today. But I finally did do a little vacuuming -- because of this thread (and thanks to some P.M. support from ReadyToJump). I had tremendous resistance. First I tied back my hair. Then I stopped. Then I got out the vacuum. Then I stopped. Then I couldn't find my shoes. Then I remembered where my shoes were. Then I plugged in the vacuum. Then I stopped. Arghhhh! Then I remembered how I would feel AFTER vacuuming. So I began. YAY! -
