I haven't done housework on a Sunday for a long time. Long. But today... To-Dones Dusted half of living room Picked up prescriptions Food shopping Put all shopping away. Straight away. To-Dos Scrub kitchen floor. On hands and knees. Pick up all toys in loungroom Vacuum lounge & bedroom Clear coffee table Straighten couch covers (it looks like elephants have been partying on it) Dust rest of loungeroom Edit: Ohhh.... the floor.... it feels so GOOOOD! Like.. silky to walk on... no crunchy bits underfoot... Took me an hour and a half to scrub. And I'll mop it again tomorrow, because I'd already changed the water twice, and couldn't be bothered a third time.

Hello all you busy, wonderful people.
My turn to get busy...
Tadas: 1)folded/hung Load #2 from yesterday 2)put Load #2 from yesterday away 3)moved Load #3 from yesterday into dryer 4)put Load #1 for today in washer 5)spoke with DH about 2007 tax issue... we will have to see an accountant now. We got the 2007 taxes done & sent in a couple weeks ago, but now will probably have to be redone. Nervous about this... I filed the info regarding this away & am now scared of "out of sight, out of mind" problem and that it won't get resolved.... 6)filed stack of papers that were on Folding Chair in Eating Area... these were papers that I went thru yesterday & needed to keep but didn't have time to put away yesterday. Had to make a couple file folders. Some I added to existing files and they probably need to be broken up & redone...but trying not to get perfectionistic about it and just say it is "good enuf for now". 7)drank 4 glasses of water 8)folded/hung Load #3 from yesterday 9)put away Load #3 from yesterday (Yay! Now, I can stop living in the past, eh?) 10)unloaded dishwasher 11)moved Load #1 into dryer 12)put Load #2 in washer 13)made breakfast for DD (2 scrambled eggs) 14)put folding chair from Eating Area away!!! Yay, me!!! 15)washed dishes 16)15 min. decluttering office in a bag -- 5 papers into recycling bag, 14 items to be filed. (did that after my 15 was up). 17)folded/hung Load of laundry 18)put that load away 19)moved load into dryer 20)put another load in washer
21)another 15 min. decluttering Office in a Bag -- 4 papers into shred bag, 15 papers to be filed, 42 papers into recycle bag, 1 plastic thing in trash, tag given to DS to put on puppy. (after 15 minutes filed those papers--had to make 2 more folders)
am feeling frustrated right now ... with my DH. I have some stuff that involves papers that he needs to do... I don't know what to do with the papers in the mean time... Hmmmm. I'm putting them on his *** boy chair. (Which means they will probably end up on the floor or stacked on top of something else in the den).
22)15 min. decluttering Office in a Bag... May have spent longer, but with interruptions, etc. who really knows? 13 papers into recycle bag, 2 papers in shred bag, 13 papers filed, 5 papers on DH's chair. 23)filed papers. 24)put another load in washer 25)fixed side dishes for dinner 26)walked DAngelDog for 20 minutes 27)walked/trained with puppy 28)finished decluttering of Office in a Bag!!! Finally!!! *put 4 papers in shred bag *filed 15 papers *put 1 magazine & 65 papers into recycle bag *put 8 papers in trash *put office supplies in closet (stickers & folder) That Office in a Bag is now so much lighter than it was. It is 3/4's the size it was! 29)folded/hung load of laundry 30)put that load away
31)moved load of laundry into dryer 32)put away hand-washed stuff from drainboard 33)got dishes soaking & hand-washed a pot and skillet 34)washed some spots from the kitchen floor 35)washed top of stove 36)swiped one sink counter 37)emptied kitchen trash, sprayed can & replaced bag[/color

Hi, there, everyone. I woke up at 5 am, then realized it was really 6am (no, it was 5 am). I got up & put the coffee on and saw the clocks still needed changing, but I went back to sleep for an hour. Hubby got up & started changing the clocks. I'll have a couple of clocks upstairs to change, but it looks like we're already adjusted to the time change. Well, we'll see how we feel tonight. So much got done by so many on this thread yesterday! Celeste, it's good to have you back. That was quite a trip. Countrygurl, welcome. Yesterday was kind of a tiring day for me, but today I intend to get as much work around the house done as I can, because I have been falling behind. The restaurant takes up so much of our time, that I just don't seem to have any motivation to do much more than laundry, mopping, toilets & sinks and a few quick tidy-ups around here. It's just not enough. eagle's Sunday morning wake-up routine (eyes, teeth, face, hair) started load of laundry in washer folded some socks emptied kitchen trash & took it out re-lined kitchen trash threw away some junk mail from yesterday's mail moved laundry from washer to dryer cleaned stove top & counter to the left cleaned outer surfaces of rice cooker cleaned tiles on wooden board that I use under crockpot (I think I'll bring the Gorilla Glue home & get around to gluing them down to the wood. Actually, I should also use grout.) started garbanzo beans in crockpot send food order by email laundry: put away Hubby's clean sweaters, jeans & sweatshirt moved the plants from the garage to the deck 5 minute tidy in living room - coffee table, couch pillows, throw folded and made neat 5 minute tidy in dining room clean/tidy another kitchen counter section 15 minutes in home office finish laundry (today's laundry, that is) vitamins & apple plan meals (cook at home today) use up some foods in refrigerator: added them to the garbanzo beans in crockpot shower & hair dust something: dusted end table, mantle over fireplace, two windowsills in living room re-pot plants - self-imposed MUST DO order drapery panels from BB&B online
