Jendela, I hope you're doing better than I am. I'm doing little bits of work, then I keep getting distracted by things. I finally started my end of day jobs, because I might have to just go to bed early and hope to get something done in the morning. I started collecting laundry to start a load, then left it in the DR and forgot about it until it was too late to start it. I did do some general decluttering in various rooms, but there are still things out of place. I am hearing some great Christmas music though! Diane

All I hope that "you all" will not mind me popping in here for the reminder of the weekend. I have hit a brick wall after being productive for the past 3 weeks. I need a place to come and blog about my @next actions. This weekend I was hoping to have Christmas finalized I am so much to do and feeling very frustrated, I am to old to pull all nighters. But I will give it what I got....I need to juggle some daily task with Christmas planning. I have an app called Out of Milk. I use it every year for my Christmas List. I setup a list for DD and DD and then others it helps keep me within my budget and keeps my ideas handy. So my first step is to update that list. I updated it early this am but lost my updates. My first 3 home task to do is load to wash, dishwasher and work on list. YIKES I stated this post over 2 hours ago and never posted. I did get the load to the wash DH had loaded the dishwasher -- score one for me. I called step-mom about a present for dad and spent to much time on the phone. I have got to make something happen tonight. At this point 9:45pm I have not even committed enough effort for a full days of work.

Roadrunner! Don't make yourself miserable over your Christmas preparations--Christmas is supposed to be an enjoyable and peaceful holiday! If you can spend time with your family, that's the important thing. But, I know you always work hard, and you will this weekend too. I'm glad your DH did something helpful! Diane

Worked 10 mins on the Christmas list that has been stressing me out. I have nothing to buy DS for Christmas. He is getting an iPhone and will be happy about it and I am getting the Internet Service increased from 5m to 8m I can only get as high as 8m out here in the country, was hoping for the 15m. But other then pants and shirts I have nothing for him. DD is getting pocket book, Books, Candle Warmer, Makeup and some clothes her main gift is a very nice pair of sunglasses (oakley). I have done very well using coupons and getting great bargains for DD actually coming out under budget this year. Granted DS I will have to pay for his phone service all year but I pay for DDs already. He will be happy with the upgrade to the Internet Service but that benefits us all. I just do not have that one gift that is like WOW this is great. It does not have to cost a lot it just has to feel right. Anyway it is a huge emotional stumbling block for me. Ok pity part is over time to get going again.
My next 3 task will be Laundry Flip Fold Dryer Put away downstairs clothes Work on list 10 mins.

Made some more progress 3 items of my TODO daily list -- with a bonus I did not have any clothes in the dryer. WOOT WOOT for me. Kanban Flow now has a 10 min timer option, I do not remember 10 mins being there before, it is help tons just wrapped up another 10 mins on Shopping list in Out of Milk and I am feeling less apprehensive and I got another idea of Austin for Christmas some American Eagle Underwear, yes it is clothes but something that all the boys wear.
So my next 3 task will be to Flip Mail Put Away upstairs 10 more mins on list

Things are moving along much better -- getting list together is relieving a lot of pressure. Amazing how difficult it can be to get started when mental blocks are in the way, but once you break through the block it just flows -- at least until next block. Daily todos are going well also -- another bonus I do not have any of my clothes to put away. UGH putting away clothes in a crowded closet is another mental block so glad I do not have to approach that block tonight.
Going back in for some more

This last challenge took right at an hour I am very motivated and can keep going I just hope my body holds out.
My next task will be tidy 15 Continue looking for DS iPod I want to install Out of Milk App on it so when shopping tomorrow we can divided and conquer, DD and I DS and DH. List 10 mins Wash family shirts -- Normally Christmas Eve the family gets PJs DH never wears his, I could use some new ones and I bought DS 4 pair of pj pants Black Friday and I already gave to him. DD is getting new PJs actually now that I am thinking about it I need to get DS some pjs it is just not Christmas Eve with out PJs. Do not need to spend the money but it is a tradition I am sure I can pick up something not to expensive. Any way while shopping with DD today Belk's had a sell on Salt Life Ts so we bought 4 matching Ts for the family gift so we can all wear the same shirt Christmas Day.
Ooops for got to reply again just finished up the last of my routine stuff now my focus will be on finish up Christmas List.

We'll done RoadRunner. Your christmas prep seems to be coming together. Good luck with tomorrow's shopping. We have needed to re-wash clothes due to woodsmoke/BBQ smell so feeling a bit discouraged. Also, I would like to trim & polish finger & toe nails.

Hi wonderful group! I'm awake, and leaving for work asap. Have a great day! Have fun working around your homes, I wish I could do the same. I did get the roast into the slow cooker, the sinks emptied, and animals fed. I didn't think I'd have time for an ick, but my cat played along and threw up for me, wheee. All good. Gotta fly! <--me at work, only pacing, and wishing I was elsewhere!

my cat played along and threw up for me Cats can usually be counted on for providing an ick when needed. Have a good day at work, if that's possible. Jendela, sorry about the laundry rewash, that's discouraging, but at least you'll end up with clean-smelling clothes. Roadrunner, I hope you didn't keep running throughout the night. Have a fun family shopping trip but don't spend too much! I'm having a routine morning here, I started laundry and took care of the animals, I leave for mid-day work in about an hour. There's another possible plumbing appointment coming up this week (a building issue, unrelated to my now beautifully working radiators) so today's goal is to make sure the apartment is visitor ready, especially the bathroom. Have a great Sunday everyone! Diane
