Daye, I don't do Facebook, so I can't see. Tell me what happens, pretty please Ima, it's two college age boys, and it's staged as a gag, meant to be funny. The one boy is washing dishes, and the other one drops his dirty dishes in the sink. The first boy, the dish washer, gets really upset and dunks the other boy's head in the (clean) sink of water. wynken, I'm sorry - didn't mean to be offensive. It's now deleted, and I will think more carefulky before I post something like that again on a public forum.

Hello again, Another day that dishes have been kept up, although more than once I had to observe myself planning to walk away from a few dishes in the sink. A few dishes in water that over another day or two add up to a gross sink full, so took those few mins to keep up with them a few times today and am thinking that it now makes it two days that I am keeping up with them again? I cannot remember, although feel it is important to keep reporting so am being held accountable...as well as it being documented in case I fall off the track just how and when or why. Might take sometime for it to become habit habit like a mindless action that just happens no matter what, although am paying attention to my mind and the sink...which is working so far. Great work everyone!

Harmony, it took me a year of being on this thread to get into the habit of washing my dishes at least once a day.
I've just finished mine.

Hi iamamess ...great job finishing yours and thanks for sharing about your habit and how long it took. Dishes was one thing I had been able to pretty much get under control if nothing else already before now, so am hoping that it will not be so hard and able to start branching out soon while keeping it priority as far as maintenance. When it is from health, am not going to beat self up and while all seems to have the roots in health....it seems that the component of being overwhelmed that gets in the way more than anything sometimes. Gonna stay mindful and keep them priority. One habit/routine/necessity is a big thing to master and maintain mastered I do believe. Oh how I wish I could just whip through everything and keep on top of all, although there are limits that have to be worked with and also that get in the way of keeping things up. At ay rate, regardless of obstacles(which I know we all have)....they are not going to do themselves and require whatever I have to give to do/keep up or deal with if unable to attend. It really is more than a physical, mental or emotional thing... Am starting to have some insights that go deeper, although will ponder them when they come to mind on a blog. Have not made any dishes dirty yet today, although know I will wash them up as I go and am mainly doing easy pre-cooked foods for at least the next few days. Here is to another day of maintaining dishes Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone and letting me join and work together with you all. Am thinking even when they are in a good routine, I should continue to post to keep self in check and remind and reinforce habit. Sorry if I have not acknowledged all the welcomes and also if I do not respond to or comment on other posts, although right now am healing from stuff and just checking in without much time or energy to be part of the community working very basics. Am grateful for the company, welcomes and support(even if not commenting on other people's details...just do not have it in me right now for the most part).
Have a great day of dish washing and maintaining everyone!

Washed dishes before lunch today. I'll attempt to get the dinner ones done so I don't grow another dish pot range. imamess Harmony cleanbee and dayeanu

good job iamamess! awesome wynken...that is how it is working for me i think? just catching those few before they can multiply into anything but a few.... today i also gave my brita water filter a good clean. no idea what possessed that, although guess the water was not tasting as awesome and instead of just filling it at sink, decided to put that good clean soapy sink water to use for something else great. hooray for dishes!
