Hi Kimmy, I think that is a great outcome. I am always happy when an item can find a new home, even if it is your old, ugly quilt cover. Good of you to leave it out for consideration.

I just wanted to add, since i know some people have environmental concerns, that i am recycling what i can, donating what i can and the rest is going in the trash. So if anyone is that point where they can do that, the landfill party is not limited to what goes in the trash. That said, if you need to take amnesty for everything, here it is. . Take it, its yours. Amnesty is a wonderful concept and ive made liberal use of it.

Jendela, we had Cyn with her eye on that ugly quilt the whole time, she can't pass up anything for free....snuck in and took it in the dark.

Tossed a cake pan that the teflon was coming off and the lid that went with. Added some candle holders to the donate basket. Now that its daylight, i should load the donations in the car and put the recycling in the can. Im hoping to fill the 32 gal can by sunday night. So whose is baking the cake?

I'm heading into the bathroom to clear out miscellaneous bottles of shampoo and so forth... so everyone at the party can be clean and look pretty. Even the local vagrants.
As for the quilt cover.. glad it's gone. Perhaps another hoarder took it home because it was still good.. and free... and 'might come in handy some day.' Ugly? In my prime acquiring days, if it was clean enough, 'ugly' would not have stopped me.
In fond memory of dumpster diving.

Ack! BetsyMarie, where *did* you find my old picture?! I thought I'd lost that in my hoard, ages ago. Yikes, now it's resurfaced on the 'net.
Swampy, I can match the cake pan - so we'll have plenty of cake, yum! I also matched the old camera box - in a sleepy daze, I chose to crush it. Before I woke up and talked myself out of it, rotfl. I have a grand total of 12 boxes purged, not including regular boxes, like the pizza box. (and, just to mention, they're actually going into the recycling)
