I have an iPad running the latest iOS. For the past few days I keep getting booted out and constantly have to re log in. I haven't changed any settings or anything. I did reset all the settings on iPad and it hasn't helped. I've been clearing my cookies and history after every log in to the forum. I didn't have any problems when I logged in last night with the cranky old laptop running windows Xp. The message I get is "a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded."

I just turned off JavaScript to see if that will help.

Odd. Let's keep an eye on it, Swampie. If it persists, I'll contact ProBoards Support.

Celeste I seem to be doing a bit better with JavaScript off. I'm not getting.booted out but it is still strange (I cant "likes" posts, etc). I had to log in four times just to do the above two posts. I'll let you know if it continues. Thank you.

Unswamping ~ When I was working at the bookshop yesterday, the computer kept blinking a JavaScript update alert. My manager said to ignore it, as it only causes problems. Then all last night and today I've been getting repeat messages on my PC laptop that there's a problem with a script running on the page (not just this site, but several others too), and I keep having to click the box off. Nuisance! Hopefully it will resolve itself soon for both you and me.

I am not getting unlogged in, but am having the same page reloading issue, on an iPad with latest iOS. I had this iOS on before the problem started, so don't think that is the issue iyswim.

For those using iPad I've discovered that ProBoards Support is aware of a problem and have made fixing it a high priority. See this thread on Support for more details.

lesaulerouge and papermoon. I turned off JavaScript and that has helped. You won't be able to use smilies or like posts but it keeps you logged in. I think the problem may be a JavaScript update that is incompatible with safari. Hopefully Apple will fix it soon. I posted a message to the link you gave Celeste. Hopefully that will help them narrow the issue down.

Thanks. Interestingly I seem to be the only one then that isn't logged out, just have to wait for each page to load, sometimes multiple times. Took me three attempts to even get to this message - let's see how long to post this! I can't edit, so if there are typos, then they have to stay!
And, ooh, didn't know there were other pro boards boards.

Still no better than it was, has anyone got any idea whether they are still working on the problem? Every post / pm / update / edit etc takes an age to do and it's very frustrating...

The task for fixing this is still 'high priority', but no updates as yet, lesaulerouge. People are still telling Support about similar issues so we aren't the only forum with the problem. Hang in there.
