This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous.
- Do one more little thing.
- Do another little thing.
Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing.
- Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or
depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying
- Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's
- Took pop can to kitchen
- Put away phone book
- Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's:
- Bring plates and glasses to kitchen
- Put dirty socks in hamper
- Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post.
Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das.
YOU DESERVE THEM!

Well, Syzygy, getting up is an achievement in itself!!  And you got the WIT started today!! I'm grateful for that!!  TADAs: Got up and showered. Emptied the tumble dryer. GOT ENGAGED!!!!!!  (Well, offically so!! I already was, but OH went down on one knee in the restaurant at lunch today, with a ring!!)  TODOs: 15 mins de-cluttering bedroom. 15 mins de-cluttering living room. Washing. Good luck to everyone with their own goals for today. Hope you all have a wonderful day!  |

TADAs
Organized DDs and DS to Erase the Evidence in our clean kitchen and dining room table
washed a load of clothes
Figured out the the new cheap laundry soap was breaking everyone out and removed from laundry room to return to WAllyWorld
Dogs and cats fed
Took meds
nice bfast with family
TODOs
reboot laundry when this load finishes
unload dishwasher when it finishes
wash the handwashable pans from last night and this morning
sweep dining room and hall
study and use my SAD light for 30 minutes

Wow! Congrats, Sapphire!
I decided I would do one thing... and then I just kept doing things!
Ta dah
* Gathered all food and dishes
* Washed dishes
* Washed sink, counters, oven
* Wiped out microwave
* Cleaned (good enough) toaster oven
* Cleaned, put a new filter in, and filled up cat waterer
* Wiped down kitchen table
The kitchen is now Maintained!
(except for the vacuuming and bringing down the garbage which are separate items)

 Hi all, A new day and a new list TaDas  walk dog am meds made bed filled dw and started it threw away a variety of papers dogs med Todos go to grocery store empty dishwasher clear counter and sink coffee with friend--her birthday-on my way bring old magazines to share library-on my way More Tadas cleaned up a number of magazines loaded dishwasher walked dog evening meds Good night all!

Hi everyone! Thanks Syzygy for starting WITS. Glad you got up and got it started. I was tempted to stay in bed myself, but I had to get to the bank before noon. WTG on getting the kitchen to maintenance level!  Congrats Sapphire!  I like old school romanticism! Woot woot for Marie also!  Here's a big  for DD and DS for helping. Wow iprocrastinate, you're not procrastinating today for sure! I have a few TADAS: 1. Washed and dressed. 2. Took meds/vites/supplements. 3. Started a load of laundry. 4. Banking done. 5. Went out for breakfast. 6. To grocery store for a few things. 7. Laundry into dryer. TODOS: 1. Bring laundry upstairs after folding, and put it away. 2. Put more minutes on cell phone. 3. Re-hang curtain that I knocked down days ago.  4. Work on neatening the dining room. (A bad hot spot.) Updates later. 3G |

Our baby is due in January, so money, unfortunately, is an issue at the moment. I'm just so happy, I don't care when it happens!! I'm on cloud nine!! Thank you threeg! Nothing like a bit of romance eh!! Not totally old school though, as we were there with our daughter. And she is the one who, after getting the nod from Daddy, produced the ring box! A proper family affair!! |

More TADAS.  1. Hung the curtain back up. 2. Put a lot of stuff away from the dining room...more to go. TODOS: 1. Bring dry laundry upstairs and put it away. 2. Put minutes on my cell phone. 3. More cleaning in the dining room. (What a mess..  ) Be back later. 3G |

Fantastic news Sapphire!!! And you are right...when you know you know. Hi threeg....great work getting those curtains hung. Projects like that ALWAYS get put on my back burner. I'm dealing with emotional stuff today....hurtful e-mails that involve both my DN1 and myself...generated from her G.S. leader none the less..and am having a huge problem concentrating....ARRRHHHHHH!!! (I probably just outed myself..so if you know me, please pretend that you don't  ) I HATE drama!!! tadas... dealt with hurtful e-mails cleaned out TWO cabinets under counters CLEANED UP LAUNDY ROOM SHELVES todos... clean up toaster oven fold laundry put laundry away |
