This is the Working in Threes Thread (W.I.T.)
EVERYONE IS WELCOME, especially if you've never posted before!
The guidelines are simple:
- Do some little thing to make your house less squalorous. - Do one more little thing. - Do another little thing.
Once you have 3 things done, post them here.
- Post the next 3 things you plan on doing. - Go forth and conquer, return and post again.
Remember - if you are tired or sick or injured or depressed or overwhelmed, you are in the right place!
If the next 15 minutes consists of:
- Looked at hopeless living room and felt like crying - Decided you could take empty pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Picked up fast food wrappers on coffee table and put them in trash
. . . YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THREE - DOM !!!
You could post:
Ta - Da's - Took pop can to kitchen - Put away phone book - Threw away McDonald's wrappers
Then your To - Do's: - Bring plates and glasses to kitchen - Put dirty socks in hamper - Bring folded towels to linen closet and put away.
Whether you do those three to-do's, or something completely different, once you've gotten 3, come back and post.
Remember to take breaks and drink water. Drinking water counts as a Ta-da!
If you can notice what the person before you did, it might cheer them up to hear from you.
Go forth, have fun, and be generous to yourself with the Ta-das. YOU DESERVE THEM!

Morning everyone!!!!!!!!! I hope you are having a wonderful time today restoring order from the weekend. DH stayed home last week (he travels on business M-F, no not a trucker - they get paid much more! ) because doc wanted to be sure I had support as I started my depression meds - unofficial suicide watch I think. The pressure of the squalorous house and nursing entrance exam (this afternoon) and work and 4 kids...it got to me bad and I finally sought help. Last week DH desqualored to the tune of about 40 trash bags of clutter out of our home. I am down to a level 2 (maybe even 1.5) people!!!! WOOHOOOOO! So now to maintain it and eke away down to a 1 which is my new goal. TADAs took meds washed 1 load of laundry, folded dry stuff made coffee had some kiddos off to school in a good mood put stray dishes in sink TODOs wipe down kitchen counters unload dishwasher study 30 minutes

SAPPHIRE - 1 bag out is 1 bag lighter!!! EXCELLENT JOB Starting to get a little anxious about the exam. I feel ready, but getting into nursing school and getting my license is soooo important to my family. It will mean a great deal to us all and will give me so much fulfillment in my work. Trying to just relax. TADAs hung a load on the line - dryer quit again finished cutting some things for a sewing project so I can put it away and clear up the table for a review session wiped the kitchen counters showered, dressed, did my hair made the cats a warm place to sleep on the porch when they are outside stripped DDs bed to wash stuff - she turned out to be allergic to the new laundry soap. TODOs clear table and get out books eat a good lunch review review review
