got up for 15 and- made myself a cup of tea.. while it was brewing i snagged the box of thanksgiving stuff, there isn't much of it and.. put out thanksgiving kitchen towels and hot pads made a lil table centerpiece of gourds and dried colourful corn drank tea while i pressed mancreature's whites for tomorrow so those are hanging up and ready for him pulled dirty kitchen linens and tossed in laundry pile
******** went for another 15 and got chicken marinating and cleaned up from that and pulled everything that we'll need when we set in to cook dinner
**** cleaned out launchpad bin.. it was overflowing with junk.. got out and labeled an envelope for receipts so we can do proper expense tracking...or at least start trying..
****
wiped down the furniture put out clean table cloth refilled cat feeder and watered and cleaned them both out while i was at it
mancreature got home, lovin, hugs, snuggles accomplished showered up and heard dorky gaming geek humour the entire time omg we got all the laundry put away went for a walk splashed round in autumn leaves got fixin's for dinner and omg the stuff to wax my legs, please note sprayable benzocain made it into that list of stuff
home, in wonderful fluffy fleecy warm jammy pants, tea made, eyeing up the recipe for curried noodle soup before i dig in and try it trying to visualise how it'll go
ok visualised dinner prep. and so far so good. don't have to do anything for the next 20 minutes. think i'll go through cookbooks and do a bit of decluttering. eeek but. garlic sauteed, curry mix tossed in briefly, cocoanut milk and chicken stock tossed in then the ginger, pepercorns, lemongrass, some limejuice, soy sauce, a dash of fish sauce.. tossed the marinated chicken in too poach. ginger tea for before and with dinner started simmering rice noodles soaking
****
finished making dinner... curried rice noodle soup, chicken satay, rice, ginger tea, we had sweet rice and mango for dessert.. very very full ohmy we let the ferrets run around like the evil lil mustelids they are while we are...
mancreature's tackling dinner clean up and getting the kitchen
i rearranged the shelfunit thing in the front room so the ferrets aren't knocking over glass things or climbing all over kitchen linens. i watched dublin jump in a garbage can then flee from a scolding into the basket of linens. grrrr gross. bad beastie. now the cookbooks are presented for the ferrets to attack.. and i organised em by category while i was at it. woot.
diningroom is all sorts of maintained and presentable now. just want to keep it that way
carpet vacuumed and shampooed.. diningroom all squeaky clean.. mancreature finished up kitchen duty and now i'm drinking a cup of tea and will wander into semicleared out doomroom and try to get some sewing done:/

Late start for me. I'll read later. Just want to list some of my doings today. As seems to be my habit, I put a project on my ToDo List and a few days later, I actually start working on it. Well, this time, it only took one day on my list before I started it. I want to move the potted plants to the master bathroom, listed it as a project to do yesterday. Started today. It'll take another couple of hours to get it done, I think, but at least it is begun. eagle's Tuesday special project: create plant haven indoors - the perfect spot is on the rise around the whirlpool tub - under the skylight & easy access to moisture
- clean/clear off the area (I did this in the morning)
- prepare the area (towels, tiles, etc.)
- cleaned off the outer surfaces of two pots (I did this on my break)
- arranged four potted plants in their new home (also on my break)
cleaned a toilet showered, etc. wrote & submitted an ad to the paper tidied a room laundry: one dryer load done laundry: one washer load done luandry: second load into dryer vitamins Yoga early in the morning (30 minutes) 200 seated twists added another pair of pants to the donation bag (right out of the dryer) bring home my jalepeno cheddar vegetarian sausage
get the tortillas I bought for the restaurant & put them in the car (apparently I switched the two when I dropped them off in the respective refrigerators last night) to transport tomorrowDid not need to do this as I had already brought them, just didn't recall that I had put them in the dry storage area, rather than with the breads.

Didn't get the bills tended to, as I'd hoped. I developed a headache which I suspect may have been from looking at a blurry world after getting my eyes dilated for my eye exam. Didn't really feel like I could handle math on top of the headache. Speaking of the eye exam, I now have a December 9th laser surgery date for my right eye to take care of a complication from my first cataract surgery. My left eye will have cataract surgery on December 29th. Hurray! New eyes for the New Year! I'm SO glad to get it on the schedule. I'm tired of squinting and straining to see everything. I'll feel better about doing more driving for my parents once I know I'm seeing signs and traffic properly. Onward to my comments. _____________________________________ Razy - The walk on the beach with your dog sounds lovely. (I've come to the conclusion that New Zealand is one of the most gorgeous places on Earth, so that may color my view of your outing somewhat.) Give your pup a pat for me next time you go. UdderChaos - Your 20 minutes of work added a lot of brightness to your world. Excellent work! (By the way, your avatars are SO creative. Love 'em.) lessismore - I said it before but it can stand repeating: "Congratulations on finishing your thesis!" Woo-hoo! You rock! AnnieOkie - Sounds like your son's orchestra concert went well. What does he play? I murdered violin scores on a regular basis as a high school freshman. I love music so much that I stopped inflicting myself on others (and my cat!) as a sophomore, but I have a lot of respect for the discipline and artistry of musicians to this day. As for the situation with my folks, whenever I get frustrated with something they throw at me, sooner or later I remember that at their age I can't have them much longer. I need to cherish my time with them now. The realization puts the situation in perspective very quickly. djdj - Good work making the doctor's appointments, maintaining the bedroom and bathroom, and doing so well on your midterm! Hurray! I hope you CAN cut yourself a little slack with so much going on. Believe me, you ARE doing a lot on the Home Front. Eagle - Your plant sanctuary sounds like a wonderful human sanctuary as well. How relaxing it will be to be surrounded by peaceful, living greenery while bathing. _____________________________________

Celeste-My son plays violin. It is stil very basic, but he seems to enjoy it. He looked so handsome in his white shirt, tie and black pants last night! I laughed at your comment about not inflicting your violin playing on others!!
