Dear Bethel, I'm sorry you hurt your shoulder. I hope you will rest it and you won't do a lot of cleaning until it heals. Let your children do the cleaning and just try not to worry about the clutter right now. I just realized this was from last year! Bethel, is your shoulder alright now? Shoulder's still a problem. MRI was inconclusive about a SLAP tear. And it's about half-way healed from being frozen. That's going to take months and months more to heal. But at least L can tell that it's getting better. Still makes it difficult to get anything done, though. Especially if it requires lifting above my head.

. Good news is it isn't worse. Bad news is everything is right where I left it. In the in-between time, I've kept up with budgeting, and lots of family stuff has happened. I see a lot of victory here. Stasis seems just be part of the process. Life happens and often we just can't keep on with the project of decluttering out homes. And stasis is GOOD when we hold the line by not letting it get worse again. So for you!

OK so far today I have gotten dressed, emptied the dishwasher, taken care of my husband and gotten the cat box clean.
Next up: Water the chickens and load the dishwasher.

Thank you Seashell. Now the chickens are fed, watered, and locked in the coop. Up next: dinner for husband and myself, since Partner is off helping my son move his girlfriend into our mobile home (This is a GREAT thing!)

today Bethel! You got a lot of things caught up AND had a healthy meal! Super job! Thanks! To be fair, the salmon burger was frozen. Today was more low-key. Did one errand, then not much else. Tomorrow I have a Drs appointment. Will try and do some decluttering first so I have a pile to drag to Goodwill.

Bethel, a rest day is good too.
Hope you can assemble a Goodwill pile. That can be another accomplishment!

today Bethel ! You got a lot of things caught up AND had a healthy meal! Super job! Thanks! To be fair, the salmon burger was frozen. Honestly, frozen things have helped me have a balanced meal more often than I can count. Many's the time I don't get home until 7 or 8 p.m., and if I had to start from scratch with cooking, I would be eating so close to bedtime that I wouldn't be able to sleep. I like the whole cooking process, and I manage to do it on most weekends, but I bless the freezer and other things that make it possible to have a decent meal on those extremely rushed nights. I am still trying to find a way to make salmon in a way that I like. It's one of the "fishier" fishes, and I was put off salmon early in life by bad recipes. I've had it in restaurants where it was delicious; I need to learn their secrets!

Last summer my son took the old queen size bed out of the doom room and cleaned part of one wall. This is the first time I've been able to get back in there and do some deep decluttering since then. And what do I find in the pile of crap that was under the bed? A pink baby sock and a toddler jacket. ONE day SOON I will do a deep decluttering project, get to the bottom of a pile, and NOT find some baby item that was left there on a clean floor by the very people (stepson & his baby-mama) who moved themselves into my house with my husband when I was away at school, then proceeded to clutter it up and forever afterwards tell ME I have "always been a bad house keeper" And EVERY time still that I find such a decrepit old baby item I think to myself... yeah... ME. I have always been a bad housekeeper. And so that's why stepson just HAD to lift up all my crap and stuff his kid's random things under there. Because I'M the bad housekeeper. Sigh. Random rant is over. We made some progress today. I think I will go in and declutter one more round in a bit.
