I cleared off Dad's worktable late last night, putting away things left out for months, if not
years. Before I got up today, Dad had recovered the table with his new project. When I asked him, he hadn't even
noticed the clear surface! He'd just
used it. I did it so he could use his worktable again. Guess it worked!
Saw Mom this evening. She was tired and her memory wasn't functioning as well as usual, but she was relaxed and relatively happy. We sat in her darkened room because she was resting when I arrived and chatted about things.
Mother has wonderful memories of vacationing in France. She hasn't actually been there, but she THINKS she has, so it amounts to the same thing.
She was insisting that Sam, the gal writing the fanfic in Wales, has grandparents in her assisted living home. They are very proud and frequently talk about her, she told me.
In other news, I got an email from someone looking at the slideshow on MP Official. S/he said it ran so fast they had trouble reading the small picture captions. Could I either slow the slideshow down or enlarge the captions? I did the former because it is less time-consuming, but plan to go back someday and increase the font size too.

Razy - It's easy to keep cheering my sibs on when they keep doing such great work. Which brings us to today's observation: Despite your disclaimer, digging potatoes and washing laundry are two big jobs. Don't you
dare try to minimalize it! (I'm mean to you, aren't I?
)
Eagle - I'm relieved your
huge Thursday didn't totally exhaust you for Friday. You actually got quite a bit done. Interesting that you had a fleeting sore throat. I had one during the week as well. Must be something going around. Stay well!
Lilith - Long list you've got there! Would it help to combine errands to get several things done at once, or is the steady one-by-one approach best?
Lessismore - You got a lot of packing done today! Woo-hoo! I like your move to healthier food choices as well. You impress me so much with the amount of work you've done toward life-changing events recently. You are an inspiration, Less. Thank you.
djdj - I read your entry for today and I'll
swear I heard the theme from 'Psycho' when you mentioned maintenance! I try to remind myself that maintenance are short little tasks which make my life easier rather than big hard projects. Would that reminder help you focus on the
good aspect of maintenance? Just a thought.
