- Friday was the 14th day of the month.
Why not celebrate the number 14?
No reason needed!
NOTE: You can do this challenge on any date! You don't have to do it on the 14th. (Especially since it wasn't posted until the 15th.) 14Don't think about it. Just start. Challenge: Set timer for 14 minutes and start washing dishes (or any task), and MAKE YOURSELF STOP at the end of 14 minutes. Yep. You MUST stop at the end of 14 minutes.
Begin the task knowing that you will stop after 14 minutes. That way, you know you won't be doing that task all day long. A psychological trick that works.
[One can have the option of choosing to do another 14 minutes at some later time.] Or find 14 socks and sort them -- and throw away the bad ones. Or pick up or clean or toss 14 somethings. Or try the special challenge of the day: Write or type 14 things/beings you're grateful for. And then clean ONE thing to honor somebody or something on that list.
(If this feels too personal to share here, yet you wish to reply here, you could just say "made gratitude list and then cleaned something in commemoration.")
Share as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. No rules. Do what works for you.
You can ignore all of the above suggestions and just do anything very simple that is related to the number 14.-

I just did a variation on the above suggestions.
I gathered up 14 dishes from around the house, and brought them to the kitchen. While I was doing this, I thought about what I am grateful for. I counted the 14 dishes, but didn't limit myself to a specific number of things to be grateful for.
