DH & I spent 2.25 hours working together in the living room, which was UNDER seige from DUST: plaster, wood, stone, general living DUST.
We vacuumed UNDER (and over) every single solitary thing. Moved ALL furniture to have access to the UNDERSIDE of everything. I was sooooooooooooooo upset, you have no idea. I had been WINNING the war on dust, but this summer's renovations (here and other homes on our street) just did us UNDER.
I know you folks UNDERSTAND how stressful cleaning can be. My hands are very bad, as I had one small episode of skin picking (no blood, but a bit of ragged cuticle).
2.25 hours for 2 people who did NOT take breakst: 4.5 work hours: JUST DUSTING. No pets. No kids. No food mess. JUST DUST.
thanks you for understanding.

I'm going to hide UNDER the covers for a couple of hours. I need a nap due to the birthday party keeping me out past my bedtime.

Got under the microwave stand where the kittens go to mess when they don't want to go to the box. It is a constant battle to keep that area from deteriorating to level 3, so this was a much needed word.

PS I really appreciate udder and Lioness keeping these challenges going. I try to do them each day, though I can't always get back to report, so I want take a moment to thank you both. mm

Yesterday, I washed my underwear!
Today, I met with my nutritionist. She underscored the fact that I need to drink more water.
I've underslept. I need more sleep. And on that note, good night!

I made a special point of sweeping UNDER the furniture. All too often, I just sweep "Heloise's middle.'
