I am completely depressed today, recovering from an awful rejection yesterday, worse that I have felt in probably a year or two, but my house is a mess, and I need to clean. I do not want to clean. The trash is overflowing, there are half full bottles and cups all over the house, clothes scattered everywhere, a cage that has not been cleaned in over a week, daddy long legs spiders in all the corners, and just a big f***ing mess I don't want to deal with. I need to get the timer out. Kitchen Done just need to get my son to take out the trash when he gets here. I might have him swiffer the floors too. Bathroom The bathroom is done, it took less than one minute, I am shocked! I have not done the cleansering and all that though, what I mean is that there is nothing out of place. On to the living room! Living Room - I did about 3/4 of this in about five minutes, and then I started to feel frozen. I am back here for inspiration. Done! There are Christmas presents under the tree, and now I am happy to be in there instead of miserable and anxious. Bedroom Done! I will still need to vacuum the floor and have my son swiffer, but I am feeling good about being in here. Son's room I am saving this for him. It is only a level one though, about 15 minutes worth of work. he can handle it and it will be good for him. Guinea Pigs Still gotta do this. Car I can clean my car later when I am waiting at the laundromat Laundry Gotta do it still I watched the video that was posted on the general board, and it completely motivated me. ca.youtube.com/user/ritaemmettIt talks about giving your undivided attention to a project for an hour, and then giving yourself a reward. I was able to go from disgusting mess to normal house in 46 minutes! And my mood is feeling a lot better too, from the physical work. I thought my house would take hours to clean! Why do I always do this to myself!?!?!? At least I can add on one more day of squalor free. It is OK to relapse as long as I keep coming back to the board, keep being aware of the problem, and keep focusing on eliminating it! One Day at a TIme! I will update throughout the day.
