Hello again,
I've been wondering what my life will be like when it's not centred on tidying, thinking about tidying, resisting tidying, feeling guilty about not tidying, etc. I used to obsess about my weight, but I don't do that any more. Now I obsess about my home. I hope I can learn to just RELAX about my place....
Yesterday I felt very energetic, more so than I have for a long time. It was great. I got a lot done. Today was a low-energy day. But I still got a little housework done anyway. :-)

I've been trying to get away for a few days, for over a week now, but I keep putting off packing for my trip. My Mum used to say, when she was getting ready to go anywhere, "I hate coming home to a messy house." I think I've taken that too much to <3! But in the past week I have made a lot of progress in tidying, so the home I'll come back to won't be as messy as it was when I last went away in June. I should go away for a day or two every week - then my place would be spotless! Or maybe not. My brother's a commercial pilot, and his place looks "lived in". But he doesn't feel the need to have a "perfect" home the way I do. He has friends over.

Even though I don't have an internet connection at home, so I can't get instant feedback, I want to make a commitment to do 3 things by Tuesday morning (it's Sunday night now):
1. work 15 minutes in the bathroom tonight 2. pack for my trip tomorrow 3. take 2 things down to the curb for disposal tomorrow
Wish me luck! I'll check back in a few days. :-)
