Item/Clue #5
We used to be a pair Now we are just one Being a single Is really no fun I love those fuzzy fleece socks from the dollar store, but wow do they ever get *yucky* after a while - the bottoms are all flat and matted, with little holes everywhere - no wonder my feet feel like they're burning: they are! Ewww! So today while I was folding laundry, I kept the worst ones back. Next week I'm going to wet them down, and use them as soapy mitts to clean my ceiling fan blades. Now there's an ewww for you - those things are fuzzy, like the socks *should* be.

DustyD computer mice definetely qualify. Kind of why i worded it that way. I dont have any real mice, given live with four really good mousers. I probably have a computer mouse to match you. If not, i will weed out some of the kitties worn out play mice. cyn great idea for those worn out socks. I havent cleaned my fan blades either so i do the same thing and set aside a few onesie socks too. Tassie great job on clearing out those plastic bags and getting trash and recycling out.

i'll join in! i don't have some of these things but here's what i threw out or put into donation box/bag so far: 1) cheese slicer (as close as i get to fancy cooking 2) a beautiful sweater that i loved but never wore, waiting for "someday" when i would have a waistline again. is shows every bump and fat pad. - consignment bag 3) 4) a soft lovely pair of blue jeans that has been too tight for years (i always popped the snap even 30 lbs ago) - donation bag 5) plenty of holey mismatched socks - ongoing. 6) paper plate that i kept using - out 7)several empty boxes and a few original cartons from stuff i don't even have anymore 8) 1 recently read book with red cover! 9) invitations for that party i will never have 10) 11) 12) a corny little glittery easter chick that used to be on my dashboard - falling apart and the plastic egg had lost its decorative paper - out. 13) more too-small clothes.1 grocery bag to donate or consign 14) hand painted cloth with dragons - cool but way too faded. out. 15) too many plastic 1/2 pint and pint containers - donated to elementary school for arts stuff. (about 40 of them) 16) dust bunnies and those wads of animal and human hair mixed with dust bunnies... sadly, ongoing. 17) computer mouse 18) 19) 4 or 5 excess plastic bags and some bubble wrap - more to come! 20) something starting with Z - zebra striped undies, worn out

Item/Clue #4
Look high, look low For this third clue I’m sure if you look You can find something blue I have had this blue tin kicking around for a few years. It had some wooden game boards and pieces in it. Not sure how well the pices match up with the games, i though i could do something crafty with it. Tonight i was reading "buried in treasures" and this sentence struck me "the brain writes checks the body cant cash". The blue tin and its contents are getting redonated.

Item/Clue #3
Something new, still with a tag Not quite right, not a keep In order to return Put it back in the bag
Hmmm, I haven't been able to find anything with the tag on, that is able to be returned. I have put 4 bulky and unopened packages of Christmas cookie cutters in the donate basket. These were free leftovers from a magazine promotion from before Christmas and I wasn't able to resist, even though I don't make shortbread or cookies nor do I want to be eating them.
Item/Clue #4
Look high, look low For this third clue I’m sure if you look You can find something blue
I found a pretty little blue patterned tea mug in a gift box. It was meant to be China, but made in India, so I don't think it was too precious. It was a gift from a friend, and I expect that it was a re-gift, so I was happy for it to go to Goodwill to find a new home.

Item/Clue #5
We used to be a pair Now we are just one Being a single Is really no fun
I went through my odd sock box, matched up the partners, and tossed a knee high with a huge hole. I can't bear to think about my lonely earring, as I am hoping the other 1/2 of the pair might still turn up somewhere......
Item/Clue #6
That meal was great I love that take-out place But I don't need the container Cluttering up my space
Tossed a whole heap of plastic food containers. Also tossed a plastic water bottle that reminded me of a holiday (yes, I have some strange thought processes....)
Item/Clue #7
Good things come in boxes But once you unpack Those cartons are useless Recycle the stack
That handy box I was keeping 'just in case I was going to sell something on ebay' (who am I kidding) has gone.

Looking at all the stuff I purged recently, lets see if I make a complete list: 1. A coffee maker 2. t-shirt that said "I am not weird, I am a limited edition". (got a size too small, forgot the weight I put on) 3. I have nothing I could return4. Two blue trays 5. one sock developed a hole, both went in a bin 6. a stack of plastic boxes from a spread I wanted to reuse. did not happen. 7. the boxes are not in the recycling yet, so my sister can pick some for stuff she will transport home. the rest will go then 8. two red cotton shopping bags I never used (did I mention I am addicted to cotton bags?) 9. 2 packets of cards (really do not need more than one) 10. Threw away a whole bunch of old bills. Some of them were completely white by now 11. have not tried to sell anything yet12. cracked glass tray 13. a violet blause I used to love 14. several electrical thingies 15. tins. I hoard tins. gave away 6 last week. 16. Ugh, I do not want to sweep the mouse droppings again and wonder if they are fresh or old. 17. Does the mouse I caught at home last month count? Because I do not want more mice in the house. 18. Filled a smal bag with old spices. 19. I used a lot for trash recently - good way to get rid off the plastic bags. 20. a bunch of zippers I will never use, because I do not sew. Gave them to my sister who can use them.

Item/Clue #2
You used to wear me But now you don't Think you will wear me again But you know you won’t I bought new oven mitts, and tossed the old ones. In the 'olden days' I would've shoved the old ones somewhere, with the idea of reusing them as potholders. Gone!

jendela youre doing great. I hope that other earring shows up. I had a pair once that i really loved. I lost one, i forget when but it was hopelessly lost. I loved them so i made the remaining one into a pendant necklace. (Only works for hanging earrings, not posts). If the "sell on ebay" box is empty, i think you can cross of the "selling" clue too. Two for the price of one.
