cyn that is an awesome accomplishment! 50 books is huge! Kudos to you too for being in a bagless state. I have no idea what a milk bag is but it sounds like you were desperate. That is fantastic. Umm, yes i still need to pare down mine.

Item/Clue #3
Something new, still with a tag Not quite right, not a keep In order to return Put it back in the bag For this I have some acryllic paints that I am going to be donating to the thrift store, from an abandoned project. They are sets with lots of colors, there are several of them since I liked a couple of the little collections that they had. Also, some of the slightly larger bottles. As I said, I am not "returning them to the store I bought them", but I AM donating them to a store, so it's close. Also, I found 3 thrift store clothes purchases, that I will never wear. The tags are off, I may have a couple other thrift store things with tags that I may have purchased on a whim, I will try them on tomorrow. And if they don't look good, they get donated back.

Unswamping I didn't know that milk isn't sold in bags in the US - but come to think of it, now I remember always seeing jugs. We get 3 small bags in a large bag up here in Canada, and those bags come in handy - they never have holes in them, unlike grocery bags.

1rarebeautifuldove well done! Donations are always good like i said in my first post, out is out, whatever way works for you is wonderful. cyn, that is amazing. Ive never seen that before. Half gallons are sold in jugs here, anything smaller like a quart is usually in a paper/waxed carton. I buy my milk in those juice box size boxes, 12 in a carton. I dont use milk in coffee or tea and dont drink it. Usually its for a recipe. It keeps well without refrigeration if unopened. I usually wait until my supermarket puts the organic milk on sale.

Item/Clue #19
Speaking of bags Those plastic ones pile up Set a number and decide Enough is enough Umm, i didnt really set a number. I have a small drawstring bag. I emptied all the bags out and only put back the target bags (they are the best for changing the cat litter). Once that bag was full, i hung it in the closet. Thats my limit on bags. I took a bag and started filling it with other bags. I counted to 20 then tied it closed. I did this 6 times. So i have 120 bags ready to be dropped off at the grocery store tomorrow for recycling. I put the six filled bags in a big reusable shopping bag and hung it off the doorknob so i remember to take it oyt with me. I know there are still more somewhere, lurking and breeding in the dark.

Item/Clue #1
I am quite fancy I am quite cool You don’t use me You’re not in cooking school I know what this item is in my house, it's these fancy cookie forms that you put shortbread in and bake. I have a collection of them. All different patterns. I have been wanting to give them to someone, they were expensive. I have NEVER used them. I doubt I will. No, I take that back I tried them once, several years ago. But, I don't bake cookies, and don't very often eat cookies. So, what to do with these, is why they are still sitting in my house.

I had a whole bunch of those too. I bought them many years ago, and don't know if I ever used them. I donated mine to a local thrift store. The hoarder in me is now thinking of all of the stuff I could have used them for, but the new me says that I had them for 25+ years w/o using them, I'm glad they're gone!

Item/Clue #20
This has been fun A cleaner house you see One last thing Something starting with "Z" Something starting with "z" Was the zombie in me! I just tossed a bag full of beauty products. Not things I've bought for myself because I wanted them, but *really* expensive goop that I was talked into when I went to a spa for a facial/make-up day that was part of a wedding party. I never used it! I can't believe I was talked into buying a 5-step package! I can't believe it cost so much! What was I thinking?! I must have been in a zombie state of mind, to get suckered into that purchase. That was an easy toss - this time around. Don't ask me why it took me so long. Guilt, I guess - for spending so much, and for never using it? It's gone now.

Ally i think i bought one of yours at the thrift store! I love it, its beautiful but i havent used it either. I dont make shortbread. So seeing 1rarebeautifuldove post made me think about why i bought something i never planned on using and why if its so beautiful, its sitting under a pile of clutter on my kitchen counter. cyn this is the best "z" yet. I want to get rid of my inner zombie too.

Item/Clue #19
Speaking of bags Those plastic ones pile up Set a number and decide Enough is enough Bringing about 40 plastic grocery bags to the thrift shop next time I go. I've never dropped any there before, but I figure they go through a lot of them. I hope I won't be bringing one or two back with me. With stuff inside. NO, I WON'T DO IT!

Ally thanks! I'll take mine to the thrift shop too. The next time I go. I am getting a collection of things ready to take. Unswamping - they are really pretty. I think we do like to have pretty things. Even just for decoration. But you are right, under a pile of clutter isn't where anything can be used or appreciated or enjoyed. For the Blue clue - I have a package of index cards with blue on the top one - the "packaging" one. AND a set of pretty files and box for them - a desk organizer set that is green and blue. Both will be going to the thrift shop. They're in a box ready for transport. Both of those were sitting in a bottom drawer that I think I will use to store a bunch of things off the table, so I can clear the table.
