Hi All It's nearly bedtime here but I wanted to post and list my TaDas for today (I am feeling quite pleased with myself) TaDas got up early as builder was due at 8.30am to install new sink bench (Yay) put out rubbish and recycling including newspapers which normally I'd leave until there was 3 bags full did load of washing and hung it out tidied bedroom vacuumed bedroom, hall and bathroom went to work 10am - 6pm collected sister's mail cooked tea emptied, reloaded and cleaned dishwasher did quite a bit of cleaning and wiping in the kitchen inspired by new bench top and sink. cleaned up after eating tea cleaned bathroom The house is still a mess and I am not even thinking about what the builders thought while they were here! I am hoping they are like most men and they don't notice dust and dirt. Our back door which leads to the kitchen faces the prevailing wind so the floor is always covered in dirt! Before bed tonight I want to: make lunch for tomorrow - and cleaned up everything after too even though I wasn't going to there for a minute fold washing shower My sitting room is a real mess, mostly G mess and I hope to get that sorted this weekend and some more work in the kitchen. I really really want to work in the garden on Sunday - day off - not spend too much time doing housework. ETA: I just turned my computer back on to come write this - I really want everyone to know how much I appreciate you all being here. When I was cleaning my kitchen I was thinking how good it would be t post my achievements here and know that people understand what a big deal it is. 'Normal' cleanie people just do not understand what a big deal it is for me to put the avocado in the fridge and the knife and plate in the dishwasher, for them it is just normal. This place makes me feel good, especially when I have a day like today instead of just feeling like 1 day I nearly get it right. Thank You everyone!!!!! Hope everyone else has a great day too

Wow, Razy!! You should be sooooo proud of yourself!!! I read through all your tadas and had to re-read that you'd also put in an 8 hour day at work as well!!!!!! As I thought I must've misread it!! A full day of work, AND all that housework!! You're an inspiration!! It must be wonderful to have your new sink and worktop! That must have helped your motivation! Well done, also, for getting your lunch made before bed! It's always such a great idea, but so much easier said than done!! So, good for you for actually doing it, and for cleaning up afterwards!! What a fantastically productive day! You've given me the inspiration I need for today! I hope you have a great weekend! And that you get some uninterrupted gardening done on Sunday!

Great work yesterday, everybody! Razy, thanks for starting the thread. Wow, you sure do deserve to feel proud of yourself. You accomplished a lot. Sapphire, it looks like a laundry day, but booking that romantic weekend was a highlight. AnnieOkie, so you and fiance live pretty far apart? Hubby & I lived 75 miles apart when we first started dating. It made for more telephone communications. I think we got to know each other a lot better than we would have done had we had more face-to-face time during the work week. But I get you on that long drive to get to work in the morning. That part was a bit of a hassle sometimes. Celeste, perhaps your dad doesn't think anyone else is going to eat those peaches. One would think he'd consider that re-contaminating himself was a possibility. Funny to think we have to be so vigilant around other adults, especially the ones who originally taught us to be watchful of what and how we do things. I do hope you get that chance to see a movie with Cindy. Djollydjolan, I am sorry about your emofish. My condolences. eagle's Friday morning wake-up routine put on the coffee laundry into dryer breakfast signed up for AOM to track my daily steps (FitDay.com doesn't focus on steps so much) shower, wash hair, etc. folded & put away clean laundry started a load in washer tidy a room shred some papers dust something clean something: breakfast dishes Yoga 100 seated twists 160 standing twists go to work continue paper reduction project continue file reduction project 15 minutes in home office walk to do banking & bill paying wrote to granddaughter paid more bills walked to Post Office to send mail cooked lunch when home on break apply base coat of paint to ornaments (club project)

Annie - When my fiance and I got together, neither of us drove, and lived a 6 hour train journey apart! We used to spend about 4 or 5 hours every night on the phone! So I do understand, and feel for you being apart from your other half! I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving meal with your son at school! Eagle - good start to the day. Good luck with your tasks for today! Keep us updated.

hey.. people are rocking on getting stuff done today... very nice to see. thanks for condolences on emofish btw. it's dumb. but. i can't handle much of anything about death right now... the anniversary of mom's death is coming up and i'm feeling like crawling out of my skin. woke up just crying today. sucks. on the bright side my meds seem to be helping. it's weird to be feeling so much better physically which helps with my mood through out the day. but to still feel so horrible missing mom. this is my way of saying i've gotten nothing done today except get dressed, take meds, make take, and sit on my duvet and look around. i am really behind in homework missed maintenance the last few days desperately missing mom
so. anyway. here i am on listzilla attempting to draft on other people's accomplishments.

I'm glad the meds are helping a tiny bit. Can you manage one thing for maintenance, in honor of your mother? She fought so hard. This would be a way to celebrate that tenacity in her. She taught us all valuable lessons in acceptance and courage. I'm going to do a few of my tasks with Phfoenix in mind. Even if you can't manage it right now, I'm wishing you love, djdj. I'm thinking of you these days.

Today's Tadas: 1)dressed2shoes 2)made my bed 3)took DD to school 4)took DS to school -- gave him printouts that I made the other day & stopped to get some cash so he could enter Violin Solo & Ensemble Contest. He called this morning and asked someone to be his accompaniest. Whee!!! I no longer have to do things like that!!! Growing up & becoming independent! 5)went to friend's house to wake up her son who was missing school this morning. She called and asked us to please help as she is afraid she is going to lose her job & her elderly Mom who lives with them cannot go up the steps. So, went there & woke him up. He said he didn't feel well. Told him to get up & get ready anyway cause he has to go. He did. Took him a long while, but he did shower & did go although he missed his first 2 classes. I made him some scrambled eggs. He got a little resistant at one point while he was taking soo long & would not answer me, but finally did. I got louder & really knocked on his bathroom door louder & louder & told him that I wanted to be sure he was okay. I didn't want to walk in on him, but he was taking a long time & I'm afraid he may be very depressed... He finally answered & told me that I couldn't have gotten in because he had locked the door. I said, "Oh, I would have" with finality. Not threateningly but just as a fact. I told him that I had to be sure he was okay. 6)took him to school--would you believe that he actually thanked me! He's a nice kid, but problems... 7)played with puppy 8)sent email re: sweatpants...first I wrote a forceful b*tchy one but did not send it & then went back and decided to continue being nice. So, re-wrote it & sent the new version. Even though this is beyond ridiculous now! Seemed to work because I got favorable response. Will see what happens. 9)gathered receipts for 1 of my credit card accounts & reconciled with the statement. One was missing, although I really don't even remember a seperate purchase like that one. 10)So called about it & since it is a small amount they don't want to put it in dispute & will cost more to send a copy of the receipt to me. So, they are crediting the amount. 11)phone call re: identity theft 12)another phone call re: identity theft 13)went thru yesterday's mail 14)took bag of trash to outside can 15)put big bag of recyclable papers/cardboard in garage for recycling next week. 16)drank at least 3 glasses of water 17)put load of laundry in washer 18)spent 12 minutes filing papers & putting stuff away that are mostly from Eating ARea 19)cleaned coffee maker--DD left coffee and coffee grounds in it the night before last... smelly. 20)also, sprayed stuff in house.. woke up with something stinkin' in my den, entry or dining room...thought it was just that DAngelDog had gas...but evidently that is not it. Hmmm. Nothing visible. smells bad...
21)brushed teeth & hair 22)changed shirt 23)picked up kids from school 24)took DS to Heritage Farmstead Museum -- he took more measurements 25)took kids home then went to Sam's Club 26)read email re: sweatpants -- evidently they were lost... so, that is that... 27)had friend and her son over. didn't want them to come in. but hey it was soo cold outside...what could i do ? She actually had brought me a a thank you gift and card for helping her today. $50.00 gift card to Olive Garden & a nice card with a special hand-written note inside it. Also, some cookies. I wish that she had not felt like she had to pay me. I didn't mind helping her out .... I like her and her DSon. Very embarrasing though! 28)went to grocery store to get orange juice & drinks for tomorrow 29(sent one last email re: sweatpants. 30)moved load of laundry to dryer & hung the hang-dry things
