Wow, my piles are more manageable Time to wonder.... WHERE IS YOUR WASHING? Put a load on, wash, dry, fold, put away, you can do it! I woke up, and first thing, turned the washing machine on (as I'd sorted some clothes and put them in there last night, to give myself the easy job of just pressing a button this morning. And *voila* washed. Pressed another button and *voila* clothes redrying in the dryer (they still felt a little damp from last night) Ahh... the wonders of modern technology.

I don't work full time anymore. I'm supposed to be semi-retired. Yet I never seem to have time for me-projects unless I put my foot down and MAKE TIME. Between doctors and dentists (for me, DH and my mom) plus ongoing struggles with depression, pain, rehab-fitness, and general malaise, my whole week can evaporate. WHOOSH! This morning I did a small load of hand-washed lingerie. I am trying to return to real (ie: underwire) bras with decent (not granny style) panties. I look and feel a LOT better with a little uplift (since I met DH, I have gone from braless to 34 AA to 36 A to 38 B and now 38C----boy, the years sure took a toll on my chest). Because I am round in the middle, with no real waist anymore, a better bra makes me look THINNER, I kid you not. I gave away ALL the too-small bralettes and things that hurt. I am not averse to doing hand-laundry in the wonderful new laundry room. Thank you for your encouragement.

My washing is all hanging up to dry right now. I've put some of it away, and the rest is still on the rack. I have a load's worth in a laundry hamper. Everything else is already put away, for which I am awarding myself a pat on the back. I agree with you: modern technology is fantastic. I kind of miss my old dryer, but I don't have that much laundry that I can justify the expenditure of electricity. Script: I know what you mean. There's nothing like a good bra to make you look better. ~Mouse

my laundry is currently all piled on the bedroom floor...
hey, at least i know where it is!!
amendment- bedding's in washing machine.
amendment- my wash appears to be highly migratory today. however it has broken down laundry social barriers and there are no inhibitions between lights and darks mingling. i'm finding this fascinating from a sociological viewpoint and am loath to disturb natural processes occurring. might well have to delay the processing of laundry several more weeks to allow this observational period to continue. i think it speaks to the ability of wash to adapt to new environments and influences. it is currently all in the bath tub. there is a white segregationist movement located in both the washer and the dryer currently however. if this prejudiced behavior of my laundry continues i might curtail the experiment early and throw it all on the bed for the cats to sleep on.

Currently it is divided in nice piles in the bathroom. I waited for oldest to get up because I can't tell what is clean or dirty in his room! He is getting it together and actually volunteered to start the first load! Hopefully it will be done by dinner time.

:-*Hi!
My laundry is spread around the bedroom. I have clean clothes folded in the basket, dirty ones in closet and on floor. Some folded clean on bureau. It seems hard to get it all done and put AWAY

2 loads today, washed dried and some of it folded.
I saw something on TV a while ago that there was some place in the USA where you are not allowed to hang out washing because it spoils the view! I wouldn't want to live there, I love hanging out washing.
