Oh, Razy, you have a glasshouse. I am so envious. I have always wanted a greenhouse (I assume that is what you glass house is - for growing plants.) If not, I am still envious just because you have something that sounds like what I have always wanted. Have a great day and stay focused. I am so glad it is Sunday, my day off, and I can do some things around here that need doing, too. A light bulb burned out 2 days ago above the shower in the small bathroom. I want to change that today. Of course it means getting the rest of those plants out of there, cleaning off the exterior of the pots & re-locating them to the master bathroom around the whirlpool tub. I can't reach the fixture to replace the lightbulb until I do that. So I suppose it is a good thing that the lightbulb burned out, huh? Because I also want to get the plants re-located and it's been taking too long. There are only 7 more plants in there awaiting attention. So it shouldn't take me too long to get that done. I have 3 others in the back entry to move, as well. One is a hanging plant, and I think Hubby will balk at putting a hanging plant in the bathroom, because it would mean drilling a hole into the ceiling to place a hook and he may not want to do that. I could do it myself, but I'm not sure I want to drill a hole in the bathroom ceiling, either. Hubby is going to spend a couple hours at the restaurant doing maintenance on the ice machine. I think I'll just stay home and do work around the house. eagle's Sunday slept in (got up after dawn today) morning wake-up routine walked, belly dance, weights, Yoga put on the coffee breakfast (heated up the rest of the hot cereal I cooked yesterday) 5 minute tidy in upstairs bathroom cleaned a toilet mopped floors in 4 rooms (upstairs bathroom, granddaughter's room, etc.) put away the mop & other cleaning supplies laundry: folded/hung dry laundry laundry: started a load in the washer refrigerator tidy: used up onion, green onions & part of cabbage to make lunch (started cooking in crock pot) - will do more later for dinner applied base coat to more ornaments & placed to dry tasted veggies cooking for lunch: delicious (green beans, cabbage, walnuts, onion, Braggs Liquid Aminos, ginger) apply base coat of paint to a few more ornaments (club project) plant re-location project
- cleaned off exterior of 3 potted plants & put them in entryway to dry
- moved one plant to its new home in master bathroom
- trimmed one plant (new growth is coming in, but old growth is not adjusting so well to the indoors, so I trimmed the old growth)
- watered some of the plants
- clean off the exterior of the remaining potted plants still in small bathroom shower stall
- re-locate plants to their new homes
- determine another location for the ones that won't fit in master bathroom: one is in upstairs bathroom; 5 are by the back entry way
cleaned shower stall after removing all the plants call friend - left message email brother (tried calling yesterday, but his phone has been disconnected/number changed probably since he has moved) laundry: a load in dryer/some done & hung up dust something: dining room floor shred papers donate something tidy a room 15 minutes in home office 5 minute tidy in kitchen: counters, sink & vacuumed throw rugs 5 minute tidy in dining room 5 minute tidy in living room 5 minute tidy on stairway (moved things to their proper home) dirty laundry hamper re-location project
- find out if store I saw standing screen is open today
- go there & check to see if they still have the item, purchase if they do
- start removing items from shelving unit in master bedroom (I will be re-locating the shelving unit upstairs & putting dirty laundry hamper in its place)
change light bulb above shower stall in small bathroom (need a ladder to reach it) changed light bulb in dining room check email (but don't get distracted from focus on housework) vitamins & apple start something for dinner 5 minute tidy in refrigerator - cleared out a couple more things to use for dinner & threw out an old jar of something turning moldy dinner & dishes shower, etc. master closet re-newal project - this could take a very long time, but is necessary if I move the dirty laundry hamper out & I need a plan
- create diagram of how I want the closet to be arranged - it won't be as huge a project as I anticipated - the diagram really helped envision the project
- move dirty laundry hamper out
- remove items from shelves and hanging rods as needed
- re-organize closet following diagram
- complete the task in one session
- choose clothes to donate while moving them about
Update at 5:24 PM: Way too ambitious. I think I will leave the closet project to another day. But at least I got the diagram done and I have a plan in place. I also made more progress on the plants. Not done yet, but the day is not over, so maybe I'll get this project finished today yet.

Haven't been here in AGES but it's time to jump back in, both feet. Less typing, more deqsqualoring!
TO DO:
-- put covers back on seat cushion -- make beds (ALL THREE!) -- put books away in hallway -- put camping gear in plastic bin and bin in closet -- take broken sewing machine to the car for donation -- vaccuum hallway -- swiffer room -- put shoes away
There, that's enough for now. Kept it VERY specific so I can attain these few goals.

Wow! Eagle and Razy...you have gotten soo much done!!! Sorry that yesterday, I wasn't able to come back and post. I woke up with that migraine at 5am and didn't go away until the end of the day... Timing was really bad as it was a big day in my son's life... his Eagle Scout project! So the past week a lot of time was spent running him across town to get signatures, to Heritage Farmstead Museum to get measurements and signatures, to Lowe's Hardware & Contractors Stone Supply. His project was to move a gate that had sunk pretty far into the ground that Heritage Farmstead Museum wanted moved or removed. Also, to make a nice sized flagstone & sand walkway from their parking lot to their office. This was a big project. He did a great job. He had 23 volunteers which totally amazed everyone as he did not even get his project signed off and approved by district until late this past Tuesday night. I am very proud of him as he wouldn't let me do anything other than drive him places ever since he decided to do this project. And, he didn't want any of my advice (nags)... He really did this from the ground up. Oh, he did ask if I would provide drinks, snacks, water, gatorade during the project & pizzas as a party at the end. So, I did do that. (DS paid for the flagstone and delivery with money he made working this past summer). Anyway, sorry to go on and on, but I am one proud Momma. I hope to get tons done today such as: unload my van, laundry, file bag of papers from eating area, dishes, buy dog food. drink water parent's part of DS's packet for Counselor/teacher's college recommendations either help or make sure DS gets resume or questions answered on his part of above mentioned packet make sure or help DS get another page of packet answered make decision re: thanksgiving walk DAngelDog walk/work with puppy CD

There, that's enough for now. Kept it VERY specific so I can attain these few goals. Hi JojoP ! Good to have you around! I was just reading your story yesterday! I started reading some of the stories on the SqualorSurvivors site, and was thinking of you! As you can see, the old forums and photo galleries were dissolved in June 2008. Pigpen chose to evolve onto new adventures in her life -- after 7 years of keeping those forums going. So some of our wonderful gals started a new forum here in May 2008 when they learned of the closure. The new forum is the one you are reading now. Thankfully, the stories section still remains -- as the stories were posted on the main SqualorSurvivors site, and not inside the forums ... So I was able to find your story. Your story is so great! www.squalorsurvivors.com/stories/jojop.shtmlInside your story, the link to your photos is broken ... because your photos were in the forum-galleries ... and the forums were dissolved, and also the associated forum-galleries. They are gone now. But I don't need to see the photos. I can tell from reading that you did a lot of work and have gone through much transformation. I found your newspaper article on the "wayback machine" (The Internet Archive). web.archive.org/web/20070125151129/http://transpei.workopolis.com/servlet/Content/fasttrack/20060124/FACTS24?gateway=transpeiYou are so brave. Welcome back! Hugs, Lioness -

Hi friends! I have one big Ta Da:
Me and my sons cleaned my living room!! My older son even washed the front window without being asked (inside and out!)!! I am so proud of them and myself. I posted pics in the Photos! thread.
I also went to Wal Mart and got a few things I need for this week. I may not be around much until Tuesday or Wednesday. Keep up the great work friends, you are doing awesome things!!
