Fell right off the cleaning wagon after my dinner party, and then my friend opted out of life, which has been heartbreaking and time filling. So I think this recovery time back to cleaning is better than in the past.
My very big deal that I'm excited to share, is that I started garbage service to my house! This has been about 4 years overdue. It's given me a freedom to purge I haven't felt in a long time, but didn't realize I was restricted until after this change. I upgraded to a large garbage bin (and already had a large recycling bin) so my mission is to FILL it every week. I'm paying for it so I should use it!
TaDa: Called a friend to come make lunch for my kids because of a raging migraine that hit me this morning around 1145AM. It's finally lightening up. Took meds, ate lunch Took out some gross trash
ToDo: Find some fun things to do with my kids Find a way to print a document Rest & get dressed

grace Sorry to hear about your friend. That's a great idea to upgrade you're garbage service. Sometimes I think I should rent a dumpster! ta-da's: All I can say is that I got a bunch of stuff done since I posted last, but now I am tired and want to go to bed. I didn't sleep well last night. Maybe that's why I had "droopy eye-lids" at the ophthalmologist's office today! to-do: Tidy up kitchen a bit, put food away, put some yogurt in a container to take to work tomorrow Brush my teeth Go to bed!

Good morning all!
I am up! I made and ate breakfast I loaded and started the dishwasher
to-do: Laundry: I need to start a light colored load and Sort through a pile of random clothing that should either be thrown away, given away, or put away. Vitamins/Minerals: I need to sort my supplements into the daily pill boxes
Later: Sort through papers Check chicken and bird feeders Go for a walk Water all of the house plants Call my advisor about my course selections over the next few semesters. He gets really busy at the end of the semester and doesn't return my emails. I doubt that I will actually talk with him but I want to at least try. Swap tires on car? Replace water filters. This has been on my list for several weeks now.

ta-da's: Started a load of laundry Vitamins into daily pill thingies Watered the upstairs plants. One of the herb planters I bought a couple weeks ago had dried out too much. (I plan to give one to DD for Christmas, and keep one for myself. I guess I'll keep the wilted one.) to-do: Continue with the laundry Water the downstairs plants More laundry DH says he can't find the registration papers for the car. They should have arrived a few weeks ago. I have a vague recollection of seeing an envelope from the DMV but have no clue where it might have ended up. I think I gave it to him, but am not sure.

Good afternoon yrwelcome! I have been busy on the phone quite a bit for the last couple of hours. I've been working on laundry, just a little. I have a lot more to do. I called and talked to my advisor at the university. He gave me the "PIN" I needed to be able to register for spring classes. Then DD called and talked for a bit, then I called the Advisor back. We talked about which courses I still need to take and which classes might transfer to meet certain requirements. I also realized that I never transferred the English Composition and Literature course I took over the summer. I took care of registering for my next 3 classes, and requested a transcript from the local college. Went to the coop and collected the eggs. Ate some lunch. to-do: More laundry Water the downstairs plants Go for a walk Bird feedes, check chicken feeder and water levels. Continue to look for vehicle registration

I've been sick with a chest cold. I think I caught it in the ER on the day I fell at work (11/22). I finally got over the cold around Dec 10, went with friends to bigger city, around a lot of people, and I am sick again. It is discouraging and I am tired of being sick. (Emphysema-so chest colds are a real whammy for me.) The other day, gathered the house trash. Before work TaDa: Trash out gathered laundry sorted laundry put laundry in car Get cash at bank for laundromat ToDo: Go to laundromat right after work, I have been delaying. Am also out of unders. I have a washer but the spinning is recently insufficient. I have this whole routine I have to go through before I can get it fixed: 1. Order & pay for water distiller that I have an Rx for. 2. Turn in flex claim for water distiller. 3. Pay credit card for distiller. 4. Renew the washer's extended care plan (I have thru January 2) 5. Call for washer service.

I had my dryer die at the most inconvenient days - like the day before travel If there is a tiny surplus in the budget, I have found it enormously helpful to (on very rare occasions) have my clothes laundered. They charge by the pound and sometimes it is just worth it to pay for a week's worth of clothes if you are simply too busy or too ill to deal with it yourself. Where we lived, the laundromat also did a laundry service. Hope you feel better soon. I was just imaging you sitting in the laundromat feeling miserable and I felt for you knowing how horribly inconvenient that would be. PC

Aww, phoenixcat, thank you for thinking of me. I kept "planning" to do it after work such and such a day, and then didn't want to get back out in the 20* cold weather, and skipping it another day. and another. ad nauseum. So, I knew, putting it in the car BEFORE work, and already having the CASH in fist. I never thought about hiring it done. My town is 6800 population, but maybe the dry cleaners does laundry. Sitting there wasn't so bad, it was all the trips to the car with wet bags (I took trash bags), then into the house, then down the three extremely steep steps to the laundry room (about 25" in 3 steps). I went down empty handed, then turned around and pulled them toward me. Before work: The PJ load was HUGE (used a very large washer) Dried it twice. Still wet, split it. Dried that half, folded the two casual tshirts, piled the rest on my bed, 2nd half in the dryer. Split up the bright red majenta purple load so whatever totally stained the color catchers wouldn't mess up the other items. Unhooked & parked the portable DW
