I get mail (bills/bank statements, etc) that has enough information that I'm afraid of identity theft. When I get stuff like that, I cut it up in small pieces and put it in the trash, not just any trash, but I mix it in with my cat litter box clay . I don't think anyone is going to pick thru my cat poohs to get a piece of my Mastercard bill. Just a little tip from someone with cats. Hope this helps.

ROFL what an effective idea, Fluffernut! And the idea of credit card bills ending up in the kitty crap seems somehow appropriate.

We have a paper shredder. It also has a special slot for shredding credit cards.
