Goals for Sunday April 16 - Saturday April 22, 2017:
Exercise daily including 1 mile a day Add ties to 1st patio cushion cover I have sewn for super. Sew up 3 more cushion covers for super Work on covering my own cushions Start my taxes (due the 30th) Sort out colour pods for wardrobe (Project 333) - since I seem to have lots of colours, I think I might trying gathering up all items in 1 colour each day, otherwise it seems too overwhelming. Book snow tire removal See if new bird will come out of cage to fly (although a bit early to put him with other 3 birds, I did move his cage into the same room, across the room from them. Plan is to remove the large wheeled cage from the room 2-3 evenings, and see if new bird will attempt to come out. But I also need to figure out his luring 'device' to coax him back in - so far he has shown no interest in millet or spinach.)

yay, icantbreathe - you found this weekly thread! cheering us all on! do what you can and celebrate all that you do! even if you don't make "all" of your goals or just do part of a thing - everything counts! ps - there is also a thread called "do one thing" - i visit that when i am really stuck and just post one thing either for the day or one thing at a time. i find that helpful; maybe you and other people would, too. takeonestepatatime.proboards.com/thread/24590/thing

Here is my follow-up on last week's goals: Exercise daily including 1 mile a day I did waterfit 2 days, and walked a mile every day except 1. Friday's waterfit was pretty intense, and then I did errands. Came home with a back ache, like I get when I'm on cement too long. Fortunately I was a mile ahead on my mile a day challenge, so it did not put me behind. 18 miles in 18 days - goal of 100 miles. Add ties to 1st patio cushion cover I have sewn for super. Sew up 3 more cushion covers for super Had a myriad of problems with sewing machine - I was trying to use bias tape for the chair ties, but it kept getting 'sucked' into the feed dogs of the machine - I think fabric was too thin - had to remove bottom plate 4 times to remove the mess - then the needle hit a pin, and broke, and I couldn't get the needle out at first. Bought twill tape for ties instead, got the 3 cushions sewn, then discovered I only bought enough twill tape for 4 ties, not 4 cushions (2 2' ties per cushion). I am soooo close to being done. Work on covering my own cushions - But I did figure out I have enough 'fabric'. My cushions are large square 4" high cushions - 8 of them. I had seen on line I can do a folding type cover and adhere using Velcro (I hope). Someone suggested using fabric shower curtains for the waterproofing etc - much cheaper than buying the special outdoor fabric - so I bought 4 fabric shower curtains - 2 patterned, 2 plain, and I figured each curtain will do 2 cushions. (Now I have to figure out how!) (Once I learn how, this should be easy enough to repeat in the future.) Start my taxes (due the 30th) wanted to get super's cushions done first. This is next in line. Sort out colour pods for wardrobe (Project 333) - since I seem to have lots of colours, I think I might trying gathering up all items in 1 colour each day, otherwise it seems too overwhelming. (Still getting ideas from The Vivienne Files) Book snow tire removal (Some days it still feels like it could snow) See if new bird will come out of cage to fly (although a bit early to put him with other 3 birds, I did move his cage into the same room, across the room from them. Plan is to remove the large wheeled cage from the room 2-3 evenings, and see if new bird will attempt to come out. But I also need to figure out his luring 'device' to coax him back in - so far he has shown no interest in millet or spinach.) It seems like the super's cushion covers have been haunting me, and everything else in my life was put on hold. Once new bird was moved in same room with the others, he seemed less enthused, and I became that way too. He is gradually becoming more vocal with the others, and back to playing more. I have not found his luring device yet either, which I usually use to lure them back in once let out. So whenever I do this, I need to be prepared to sit in with him endless hours if he doesn't go back in his cage. All of these 'not dones' will carry over to next week. I hope to complete the cushion cover today, and get them to the super today or tomorrow.
